The atmosphere was friendly but very loud. No quiet relaxing evening. We had been on the road for several hours and wanted to relax. So the loud music was a bit much. We are the rock and roll generation, but too loud even for a bar.
Husband steak was ok. Fish and chips boring- the fish would never recommend. A glorified fish stick.
The waitress was phenomenal.
Thought there would be karaoke
Stopped for dinner based on friend’s recommendation and they were 100% correct - this is a hidden secret, especially for travelers. Food is delicious, staff is friendly. Will definitely return.
Cinnamon butter is better than TR!
Gabby was exceptional nice atmosphere 🙂😁 lively music
this is a great diner with a fairly diverse menu. the chicken livers w white gravy were great. the pork chops were amazingly tender. it is well worth the stop on the town square. it is a typical small town bar, fairly large w comfortable seating. i look forward to our next trip up here...just off I-35.
Pleasant and service 👍

Country Fried Steak is fantastic. My wife said the Tenderloin was one of the best she has ever had. Service was terrific and the place is very nostalgic.

Good People tough business....pretty much only game in Cameron wish they would cater more to the football side of the Bar and Grill biz.

Just had an unsweetened tea & southwest egg rolls. Both were good, especially with sour cream. Sour cream & salsa comes in small container, probably everyone would need extra.
Bar feel. Older building with some wear & tear, both in the sitting area and bathroom.
Service was pretty standard, nothing stood out good or bad in that regard. Server did refill drink several times and was friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Hardest part of using a wheelchair would be the entrance, but very do-able.

Our waitress,Monica, was awesome, chicken livers great... salad and homemade ranch, awesome...bread with honey butter, awesome, and the shrimp were lightly breaded and also great. The price is right, I will try the ribeye next time. Sirloin was good but not great, and yet sirloins aren't a tender cut of meat, so all in all, it was a great experience. If ever in the area again, we'll be back. Thank you, McCorkles, for the Cheers type atmosphere! Oh, and the baked potato was great, too!
