Not the best but definitely worth a try if you are there for the campground or marina. My husband & I took our two kids to stay the weekend at the big M campground. It was a nice surprise to see that they had a restaurant on the lake. On Friday night my husband & I went to have a few drinks and try their food. All drinks including water came in cans or bottles but that doesn't surprise me since they actually sit on the lake. They had a nice selection of beers & hard seltzer. That night we tried their fish taco, shrimp taco & Street taco basket. We enjoyed the fish & shrimp taco but it seems like the street taco was just a hamburger patty and nothing special. The next morning we all went to have breakfast which is only available on Saturday and Sunday. I had the skillet omelets. It was very good but lacked a little flavor but after adding salt, pepper, the salsa that came with it and a little Ketchup it was delicious. The family favorite. My husband enjoyed his big M breakfast but he felt the same that it lacked flavor. My son had the biscuits and Gravy but he really didn't like it at all. It might have been an off morning for them.

This is lake side dining. Very convenient with a dock side atmosphere. The food is mostly fried. We ordered clam strips, catfish, and shrimp. Everything tasted the same with that fried greasy flavor. The clams were overcooked to a point of just being crunchy. The shrimp all tasted fried with little flavor. The sweet potato fries and coleslaw were very good. Drinks are limited and bottled water is served. The ice cream is good and you get a large portion. Maybe stick to a burger and you won't be disappointed like the seafood makes you feel. The waiter was very good and the place was extremely busy. I would go back to try a burger and fries. I do use the store side for fuel and ice cream while on the lake.

Horrible experience. First off we came here for the lake. On their site it did not state that it was closed. It was no, swimming in June. Absolutely no cell service. No, wifi. We are from Cali and stayed before in Missouri this place was a disaster and you can't get your money back.

They are closed for the season, as are most marina restaurants. We love to go to restaurants by boat and this one is always on our list of favorites. You can also go by car too. Good food and great service. Will be going back next season.
Went with family for a quick bite by land, but it is available to boat up to. Been here a few times before but haven't written a review before, but this review would be the same for every visit. Arrived a few minutes before opening and were warmly welcomed in and chose our own table. Although it is outside floating on the lake, a water system cools the roof, giving a much nicer temperature and the calming effect of a close by waterfall. Wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us her favorites from the menu as well as other recommendations, substitutions and was quick and efficient. Food arrived very fast piping hot, large portions, and of course delicious. For lunch I had the "Hook Line and Sinker" Tacos, which I recommend. Others in our group had the Chicken Bacon wrap, and the Aloha Chicken, which was our waitress' recommendation. Sides are plentiful and the menu has everything from the healthier choices of Caprese and a delicious Cucumber salad to the decadent Sweet potato tots, curly fries and Onion Rings. Not many places around this area have Alligator tail 'po boys and fried oysters. All quite good. Prices reasonable for what you get, especially for on the water. Also have high grade ice cream with some very delicious flavors in the shop next door for dessert. Looking forward to my next visit!

Was visiting family and we ended up boating over to the Big M for a meal. We sat outside and enjoyed the patio. The meals were large and tasty. More food than anyone could eat and the servers were all very friendly. Next time we are on the river we will definitely go back to Big M.

We stopped here twice this weekend. The first day we had a shrimp po boy, hot wings & crab dip. It was all pretty good but I was a little surprised by the crab dip. I was expecting warm cheesy crab dip. This was a cold dip more like the consistency of a hummus or bean dip (just consistency not taste) with big chunks of crab. It was good! The next day we came back for a burger, fries, onion rings & mozzarella sticks. It was great! The mozzarella sticks were huge! And hot & stringy!! Oh so yummy!!! They also have jet ski docks & boat slips to park.

We enjoy riding our grandkids around in the boat and we always stop here for lunch and of course, ice cream! Very relaxed. We've only gotten sandwiches and they were good.
