The food is usually very good and the atmosphere is tolerable, but the wait staff is very, very pathetic. We set there for at least 5 minutes once we walked in and set down, and 2 waitresses stood there, talking behind their counter and never even acknowledged we were there. We just about got up and walked out, thinking about maybe not going back.

I wish our waitress had come back with coffee refill. She was cashiering and it felt like she forgot us.Booths need seating repair as sitting on torn vinyl wasn't so pleasant.

I've noticed they have been going through a lot of waitresses lately had bad one today then had another one say she said just made a few mistakes then the owner came out and said they are not animals no one said they where they just need to try and do there job so we got up and left we will not go back food is always good but servise sucks im sure she wont last long either just sorry for the owner that lost 2 very good customers

We had a family dinner there before my grandmother's funeral. They reserved a large space for us and the staff was extremely accommodating. Food was excellent and reasonably priced.
This is the crown jewel of diners. A local gal recommended it for us. This place is quaint and actually almost hidden in a small group of businesses in what appears to be an old strip mall. I ordered the fish sandwich with fries and the soup of the day. To my delight was the Wisconsin Cheddar cheese soup. So creamy and full of flavor, not salty at all, as I had expected, as most cheese soups are. I did not want the bun on my fish, and it was served exactly like I ordered it and tasted great, too. The fries were so good, served hot and crispy just like I like them. My husband ordered the Chicken Philly sandwich, and he, too, loved his meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly, moist and tender, and the cheese and vegetables were cooked to perfection. Overall, it's was a GREAT MEAL! The price was about average for Diner style food. OUR ENTIRE MEAL, including a tip, was just under $30. A pretty good value for today's economy. We enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to go back the next day and have lunch. That time, I ordered the Jumbo shrimp and more of those awesome fries. My husband decided to try their chicken Alfredo pasta dish. He was so glad he did. He said it was better than any he had tasted in quite a while. I had to taste it myself, and I concur, really good. If you're ever in Centralia, MO, and you want a great tasting meal, give this place a try... trust me, you'll be so glad you did. I can't wait to visit it again. I might even try their breakfast menu next time.Parking: It is located in a large shopping/business area that has a huge parking lot that you can park for free.
