I asked the lady in the serving line of the mashed potatoes are real or instant, said they are real. They are NOT. I called and asked them to please correct her because i would've chose another side if she had been honest. Not what I call honestyle cooking, at least not where i grew up or how i cook in my house. Chicken is very good, but the salmon pattie was very dense, heavy and just not too my liking. I would stop again for the chicken only.

It's a nice place, you have to go through the store there to get to it. You have the option of going through like a cafeteria line and choose from what's available that day or ordering from the grill.
Food is good but drinks say no refill. It would be better if they put that sign where you can see it before you get your cup, especially if you're going through the line.
Overall not bad...

The food was seasoned well however the fried fish and the okra was luke warm at best. I took it back to the lady at the counter and she said there was nothing she could do in a snarky tone. Been wanting to try this place for awhile unfortunately I was let down when I finally stopped in.

Food was just not good weren’t doing ice cream for whatever reason service was fair the lady was very nice the consider it a buffet but charge you for every piece of food on the plate not particularly interested in trying it again on top of all that it extremely over priced at almost 30 bucks a plate

The highlight of going south is to stop at Boomland. No matter what time of the day there is always a lot of people. Today we stopped and surprisely there were not a lot of people. We got fried green tomatoes, and a Patty melt from Wally's restaurant. The tomatoes were salty, my niece said her Patty melt could have been better. Also, 1 piece of fish was 4 dollars plus.

The portion size of the fried oakra and price are way over priced. 3.49 for a handful. If you want a large it is 2X the price. The oakra does not fill a clam shell for $7.00. Way over price. I also got the chicken wings. The food was good however I will only stick to the chicken.

The foods mid. Kind of dry, kind of bland but not terrible if you're on a roadtrip and need to stop for something. It's too expensive for what it is too--about twice what the food is actually worth. It's convenient. Not the best choice for a stop but not the worst.

This was the worse, unfit to eat food. Fish was like rubber, hush puppies burnt, potato wedges not done. I only gave them th stars because lady cooked me a order of okra. We will not be back! Our food was left on table hardly touched.
