Worst biryani ever tasted. Rice used for biryani humiliates the actual “biryani”. Over spicy… trash!!! Waste of money.

Being a Malayalee myself, I must say that this place truly made me feel like I was back home in Kerala, India. The food here is so authentic that it reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking. The care the head chef and her team of wonderfully talented ladies in the kitchen put into the food and it’s ingredients tells me that they want to take you back home! This place truly brings joy and memories. Thank you! Highly recommend this place for the most authentic South Indian Kerala food I have had in the US.

Food is good and authentic but chicken curry , stew or lamb curry almost have no chicken or lamb. Same with other curry items . . Something they should consider , charging more is ok .

First and foremost, brownie points for a restaurant that takes pride in calling it a South Indian restaurant and not just Indian. Indian cuisine is the most diverse food when compared to what the world has to offer. The staff here is proud of their culture, their food and it certainly shows.Apart from Malabar Chicken Curry we were absolutely new to the cuisine. We asked the staff and took help from a fellow Keralite who told us the star dishes and we were so glad that we got to experience Kerala food in St Louis. We called for Malabar Chicken Curry, Beef Fry, Pepper Chicken, Idiyappam with coconut milk, Parotta, and Filter Coffee. The curry was good, could have used a thickener, however, this is coming from a North Indian eating person. The beef fry was delicious. Mouthwatering seasoning and very tender meat. The Pepper Chicken was the major highlight for us. We had tears rolling down because of the spice and I don't mean heat, but just the blend of spices. It was amazing. We finished this dish within minutes (called for a half plate and took home another full plate). The Idiyappam could have had some more salt and the coconut milk was very watered down. It was sweet because of added sugar, but it could have definitely been thicker. The parottas were freshly prepared and tasted amazing. No frozen dish will do justice to Indian breads. We were pretty full by the time we finished our dining, but the sight of filter coffee was dessert to us. We split one amongst the two of us and wished we hadn't eaten as much. The coffee transported us to India. The coffee was creamy, rich, and very aromatic. This place is the perfect place when looking for Kerala food and I would highly recommend you try it if you're looking for something more niche from a land of 100 different dishes! :)Edit: We took home a full plate of Pepper Chicken and weren't as happy. The half plate served to us was as good as boneless chicken, but the one we had as takeaway was full of bones and very little meat. It was as flavorful as the first one, but they certainly compromised on the quality when we packed some to go home. Kinda disappointing when you have such stellar service overall!

A really nice addition for us.I like the idlis and the cauliflower dishes.Taste is really good. And they are able to manage the spice levels to my needs. But call ahead. Sometimes they get busy and have long lead times

Had Aaha! for the first time tonight with my parents. I am Malayalee and this experience took me back to my youth, when my mom would spend long hours cooking home cooked, meals. My parents agree! Highly recommend the Malabar porotta, Fish fry, and thoran.

My daughter & I came across this Gem of a restaurant by accident today, because, we were checking out what was down stairs in Chesterfield Mall…...We both ordered butter chicken & basmati rice to go…..My daughter loved her food & so did I …. It’s delicious! We plan to go back in a week or so & try something different…

Breakfast menu and evening snaks were delicious, We ordered beef meals with King fish curry which did not hit the pallet neither did the desert paalada paayasam. It's a self service counter and the customer service was exceptional.

Appam, porotta with chicken, beef fry dishes are highly recommended. Their kerala meal option, & appetizers especially pazham pori(banana fritters), cutlet & vada are so authentic.
