I ordered off UberEats and this was the best food I've had in a long time.The lamb gyro was fresh, moist, tasty, and loaded up. It was still good even after being heated up.The blueberry marscapone cake was sweet, fresh, dense, and hits the spot.

It was nice and quiet when our group went and the food was great. Excellent portions and felt like we were welcomed into someone's home for our meal. When we finished our food, we went to the attached shop. Here, they greeted us with enthusiasm to explain all of the different products. Truly this place is a gem of genuine passion for what they do. Thank you!

You can't find better yogurt anywhere else.It's great to have a Bulgarian store and restaurant in St Louis.The restaurant is on one side and is very reasonably priced. The store is on the other stuff and has a good selection of food. I recommend the pickles, blueberry cake, liutenitsa, and of course the plain yogurt.Parking: Large convenient parking lot in front.

Beware of Darkness
I just tried Balkan Store, and my word, the lamb gyro was amazing! Came with fries for only $12! I couldn't decide on which dessert to try, so I tried 3. The blueberry mascarpone was sweet and delicious. The baklava was flakey and also delicious, as was the honey medovina. I highly recommend Balkan Store if you're in the area and want to try Bulgarian food. Some of the best food I've had!

I stopped here on a Thursday evening and picked up dinner to bring home. I ordered the gyro (no tomato add feta) with French fries. My dinner date ordered just gyro meat and a slice of baklava. While we were waiting for our order we perused the attached grocery. Great stuff in there! They carry my favorite Milka bars from Romania. It's dangerously close to home. They also carry a nice variety of other Balkan groceries with an emphasis on Bulgarian items such as feta and yogurt. I thought the gyro was great. We both liked the meat. I loved the tzatziki and the feta they gave me a large cup of on the side. I was not a fan of the French fries. Just your basic freezer bag crinkle cut. There are a few other things I'd like to try on the menu and if you are a regular around here you know I love a good gyro. Also looking forward to trying some of the desserts they make. The food was ready quickly and the service is friendly! I'll be back!

This place has always had a friendly atmosphere. Newly renovated from a primarily grocery store to a restaurant and store. The food is delicious. We ordered a lamb gyro, lamb gyro panini, and karnache. Everything was tasty and satisfying. They also have outdoor seating.

Friendly. Stopped in for hot dogs for 4th of July grill out and the clerk went over all the types of franks they had and carried my groceries to the car for me. Purchased some foot long hot dogs from a butcher in New Jersey and they tasted amazing. Store workers have offered to carry my groceries to my car every time I've gone in carrying my babe. Awesome yogurt and good selection of snack foods and tea biscuits.

I am from out of town, and I cannot get cannoli where I live. I had a craving and just found this little shop with a Google search and a 10 mile drive. I was not disappointed at all. They were friendly, and the cannoli were great!

This is a European grocery store /bakery specifically focused on Bulgarian grocery and a mix of Balkan food and pastries.There is one or two table outside. I ordered Bulgarian Kufte with salad. The portion is big given the price. If you are not hungry, you can save some for dinner. I really like the food. But, like others mentioned , the front desk girl seems to be not interested in addressing customers. She was mostly on phone while ordering. So I'm giving 4 stars.
