This restaurant completely surprised us. One of the best meals I can remember having in St. Louis.

Bishop’s Post in St. Louis delivered a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. I began with the house salad, which was fresh and well-balanced, with crisp mixed greens and a light, flavorful vinaigrette that set the tone nicely. The Chilean sea bass was well prepared, delicate, and rich, paired beautifully with the mushroom risotto and complemented by the bright limoncello sauce without overpowering the fish. Dessert sealed the deal with a trio of decadent butter cake to the classic New York–style cheesecake and rich fudge brownie. Thoughtfully prepared dishes, elegant presentation, and a refined yet comfortable atmosphere made this an enjoyable experience.

Wait staff was super friendly and attentive, always kept our drinks full. Food was good, but you can get the same thing cheaper somewhere else, nothing really unique. It is incredibly loud in there on a regular night at dinner time, it was hard to hear the person next to you, could use some acoustic panels or something, I'm sure it's quieter during a weekday.

It was my first time in the restaurant. The dinning room is very pleasant and clean. Food tasty, service very good, Looking forward to coming back and especially in the summer to sit in the patio.
Great business lunch spot that our team considers a go-to. Good quality food and service for a reasonable price.
Birthday lunch perfection with thoughtful touches throughout. A birthday card was waiting on our table when I arrived, which immediately set a welcoming tone. I also loved the reservation system, it was seamless and easy to use.
The food was excellent. The chicken wing appetizer was worth it. I would like to order that app as my dinner next time… because I don’t want to share! The soy-glazed salmon was outstanding, and I cannot overstate how flavorful it was. The Hollandaise sauce was broken, but still tasty. The Reuben was rich, savory, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients, though the bread was slightly soggy, a minor drawback.
I ordered an eggnog that was much stronger than I expected, with a heavy pour of bourbon. Erin, our server, was exceptionally kind and attentive and graciously brought me additional non-alcoholic eggnog so I could dilute it. While I personally prefer lighter drinks (I only have one drink per year), my husband considered the generous pour a definite plus.
For dessert, I was treated to a complimentary sliver of Hank’s cheesecake for my birthday. It was a small portion but a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Overall, a lovely experience and a place I would gladly visit again.

Thanks Jimmy for introducing us to here.
Bishop's Post offers a delightful dining experience that seamlessly blends a warm, inviting atmosphere with an impressive menu. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a rustic yet elegant décor that sets the perfect backdrop for a relaxed meal.
The service is outstanding—attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The chef's special was a standout, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients that burst with flavor.
The cocktail selection is truly impressive, showcasing both classic favorites and creative house specials. I highly recommend trying the signature drink, which perfectly complemented our meal.
Overall, Bishop's Post excels in delivering a top-notch dining experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic night out or a gathering with friends, this restaurant hits all the right notes. I can't wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone in the Chesterfield area.

Food wonderful as always. Great wait staff. I just don't feel whomever is managing is ever very friendly or welcoming. But waiters are always wonderful. And they got rid of a delicious and unique dessert-their berry basket. This is a shame.
The service and setting are wonderful at Bishop's Post. The food comes in good portion sizes and has a lot of flavor. Great and reliable option for a nice evening out.
We went with a group of 6 for New Year's Eve Dinner. Was everyone's first time there. Everything was excellent! Was greeted with champagne at the door and quickly sat at our table. (Great touch) Appetizers were great, salads and main courses were delicious! Interior was beautiful. We will all be back!
Service was terrible, waiter seemed to be too busy for us. Didn't bring bread until we asked for it. The young man who brought out our food and the young lady who brought out our salads were wonderful. Also the gentleman refilling waters was very attentive. The fried chicken was dry and tasteless. Asked for gravy for the mashed potatoes and it was sausage gravy for biscuits and gravy. The scallops were good but the vegetables were soggy and gross. Reminded me of cafeteria food. Not at all worth $154.00. Will never return very disappointed.
