This place is horrible and disgusting. They say they're open at 11am. But we have tried visiting 2x and it was closed around 1pm. We finally got to visit and order food.... waste of money. We ordered Chicken Katsudon, it came out smelling like fish. There are people with allergies and fish added to a chicken dish will kill someone. No one wanted to eat because all our chicken dishes were covered in fish sauce. Not only that it looks disgusting...

I loved this place but they're going down hill fast. They've removed things and changed ingredients. You can definitely tell they are cutting costs by cheapening the quality of food.
The dining in menu is different than the online menu. You are more limited inside which is weird. I don't know if that's accidental or intentional. You can't order extra egg inside which is annoying because you only get half. Everywhere else you get a whole egg. That's basic ramen. I don't get it. Just charge for the egg.
They used to have a great selection of teas but they've removed a lot of the ones I loved and they aren't made as well. The tea was a big reason I liked coming here. But my husband's tea was awful. He didn't drink it. My friends was awful, her boyfriends was good and mine was good. So 50/50.
My tonkatsu ramen only had tonkatsu, noodles, broth, corn, half an egg and scallions. No naruto, no seaweed, no bamboo shoots and missing the little extras it had before. It didn't taste like it used to. The pork and broth were really bland. It used to be my favorite place for ramen.
They brought mine and our friends food out 10 minutes before my husband's. The appetizer was already gone because of the amount of time we had already waited. So we all got to stare at our ramen while we waited for his because of how rude that is. There was 4 people I feel like that shouldn't have been hard to time it together. Mine was not hot when it was brought out so it was borderline cold by the time I got to eat.
A couple months ago I just thought there was something wrong either with the kitchen or getting ingredients but no, even worse this time. Other recent reviews are mentioning it going downhill too. I guess that's just how they are now.
It used to be one of my favorite places. I love the atmosphere. It's calming and charming, and feels private with how it's set up. You could tell they put a lot of thought into it when they opened. I've picked it for my birthday and Valentine's day. But it's basically mall food now. I actually apologized to our friends for suggesting it. I would have rather had a price increase instead of ruining this place. Hopefully one day they can bring back what they were because this is sad. We won't be back until then

Don't order food!!! I got Ramen the fried chicken came already greasy and the noodles tasted worse than store bought cheap college Ramen. Don't think I didn't hear the microwave go off to make the food for the only person in your restaurant. If you want tea go for it but just don't order the food.

Have ordered take away from this place : yakitori , curry chicken bun , oyakodon , Thai tea and Okinawa milk tea. Everything was bad. The yakitori and the oyakodon was too salty . Completely inedible. The chicken bun was just dry. Not even the tea was good . Just waste of money .

Really inefficient set up. Went at 8:25pm, only one gal working and she was slammed with orders.
Would be nice for more seating when waiting for carry out, though they do have a huge cafe/dining room.
Kiosk didn’t let me pick the sweetness (mango smoothie) so it was way too sweet. Taste only sugar, not fruit and yogurt

Hi Tea is a solid 4-star spot if you know how to order. The milk tea is only decent for STL, though maybe not as good and specialized as some U-City spots. However, it’s my go-to for takeout because of their incredible BOGO (Buy One Get One) deals on Uber Eats: the chicken cutlet with scrambled eggs rice bowl (now curry chicken rice bowl) is a great value.
Pro-tip on pickup: The Uber ETA is usually optimistic. Add about 20 minutes to the estimated time unless you want to wait around.
The highlight is actually the interior! The owner has clearly put a lot of heart into the decor. Between the massive floral butterfly wall, the claw machines, and the impressive collection of Lego sets (like Hogwarts!), it’s visually stunning. It’s usually quiet inside, making it a cool place to snap some photos or have a quick chat, even if most of their business seems to be delivery.

Not enough workers , and they have you wait so long for cold food and your drink go soggy and make excuses like 5 more mins when it's been like over 40 mins for a small batch , dont go here and pretty low and poor employee not happy doing there job . If your not happy then quit simple ... 🙂

WARNING FOR BLACK PATRONS of this restaurant: I sent my husband to pick up an order and he was met with poor service and discrimination. He went to ask if the order was ready and was rudely shoowed away, when he finally got his order that he had already asked about he was racially profiled to make it seem like he was stealing. He was asked if his oder was fake multiple times and tested by staff after already asking personly for said order.
Spicy beef ramen!!!! So good, actually spicy but with flavor instead of just “hot”
The menu in store didn’t specify what is in each dish but available with the online menu with photos.
Overall would come back when in the area :)

Never had microwaved Boba for $6 before. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Went here for boba and left with a delicious meal. We didn't know they had undo, Ramon etc. The food is great and we have been back 2x in a week.

Service was fine, but it’s probably better to avoid this place. I used to go here a lot, but it’s seriously gone downhill. The drinks are way too overpriced for what they are - the boba is extremely hard, and the flavor isn’t too good either. Wouldn’t recommend it.

This is worst boba experience I have so far in STL, mango milk tea literally smell like mango powder in water, it was so runny. I asked for less ice and it has more ice than the actual tea. The crystal bobas are so stiff, it’s almost inedible. Better to avoid…better options in panasia or dumplings & tea in chesterfield

Got the Ramen with an extra order of noodles and soup. Took half the goodies and put them in the extra soup so I had lunch for work, perfect!
