Very cute place with an interesting asthestic that girls are sure to love. The drinks are delicious, and I love that you can customize the sweetness because I think they are too sweet at full strength. I like the fruit teas iced at 30% sweetness with lychee jelly.

The food was amazing.

Painfully slow. Nearly an hour wait for 1 small order, while they were not busy.

Food is great but the take out wait is forever. Will always be at least 35 minutes.

HItea is a must-visit spot! Their food is absolutely fantastic, with rice bowls that are bursting with flavor and creativity. The atmosphere is incredibly cool and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind with friends or enjoy a meal on your own. We're so impressed with what they've created! I hate this… this place was TERRIBLE.

Ordering was easy. There’s the kiosk or the girl behind the counter.
Prices are eh. $15 for a chicken katsu ramen, expect about $6 for a boba tea

Food took a very long time to come out. Sunday around dinner time, looked like lots of take away orders.

Appetizers came out in a decent amount of time. The shumai was ok.

Now the ramen. When it finally did come out.
For starters, like warm at best.
Broth had zero flavour. I mean. None.
The chicken was bland. So bland!! The noodles were al dente. Al dente ramen noodles?! Never heard of her!
The egg had some flavour I ate that.

For me to leave food behind. It was THAT bad. I’m still disappointed in how much I spent to have flavorless food

We are regular customers of this store, but I’ve noticed that for nearly half a year now, the pearls in their bubble tea have been terribly bad. Every time we buy bubble tea, the pearls are hard and not cooked properly. In the past, this would only occasionally happen, but for the last six months, every time we buy, the pearls are always hard. The owner of the store should seriously reconsider how they cook the pearls. To test whether this issue occurs at other branches, my family and I specifically went to the Delmar Loop location to buy a cup of bubble tea, and the pearls were overcooked and mushy. As a beverage shop, it’s really disappointing to see such inconsistent quality between locations. We hope the owner can improve this situation. We are regular customers, which is why we want the owner to make changes, otherwise, we could just stop going there altogether.

The most perfect egg in a ramen I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection. Best broth. Best ramen. I’m addicted

Incredibly disappointed in how far this location has fallen. 3 times in a row now, we have been let down in one way or another. It used to be my all time favorite eatery. Now, I can't even depend on the drinks being made right, let alone the quality of the food to be consistant, and I order the same thing every time. Truly a shame. I really hope things change quickly or I won't be coming back.

Employees are very helpful and friendly. Entree I ordered was a sliced pork cutlet on top of rice with egg similar to an omelette,& some sauce.Didn't taste anything like any type of Asian food-was plain. Milk/tea suggested by employee was delicious.

We did delivery and food was fantastic. I’m sure would be even better dining in.

I've had lots of boba in the area, and this is my go-to. Price for the size is great, boba quality is excellent, and the tea is awesome as well. Thai tea, coconut, and taro are all my favorites. I'll be back!

Place was way better before they hired all the Indians to work there. Food no longer tastes like authentic Japanese food and was a disappointment the second time I came. Bathrooms are filthy, floors dirty, Boba cocoa was watery and flavorless. I miss the original Japanese staff. The new people have done this place a gross disservice. Ordered a to go Karage and it was burned and had chili powder dumped over it to try and hide the fact.
