This place was great! I got a Mongolian Beef lunch and special. It came with fried rice, soup, and a crab rangoon as well as a vegetable egg roll. The owner is a super nice person and very flexible with any substitutions. Really enjoyed the overall experience and I don't normally write reviews.

This place used to be a Stl county staple. We used to skip school and drive up here for lunch. I always looked forward to the hot braised chicken, and regarded this place as the best Chinese food in the city. Not anymore! The food has gone downhill since the new ownership. They claim nothing has changed in the kitchen, but it's simply not true. Such a shame, they really need to focus on the quality of the food and bring back the long-time customers they've lost. We've been ordering from there for 25 years, but have moved on...

Unfortunately the economy got the better of this restaurant. They have switched to cheap meat and using new recipes the old flavorful ones are gone. The General T’so Chicken used to be sooooo good very disappointing. Now it’s no different then China King or Green China. If you used to drive for this place save the trip and order from the place in your neighborhood. It’s not any different anymore. We would drive from Saint Peters (25 min) for this place.

Lately this has been our go to place, lunch or dinner, dine-in or takeout, food is always delicious and plentiful. My go to dish is the General Tso's Chicken combo. The crab rangoons are always fresh and creamy. Since changing ownership the restaurant is more accessible for dine in, plus they enlarged the dinning facility. Place is always clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Usually in and out for lunch in under an hour. Recommended for your Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price.

Excellent food, fast service, very nice staff. I had hot and sour soup, excellent and not too hot; Crab Rangoons, very good; and excellent Kung pau beef. Really very good. The best Chinese food I have had.

My wife and I have been going here for decades. We were excited to get such great food like we normally did but the food was AWFUL! We threw half of it in the garbage can.Hot brazed chicken was under cooked with mostly breading and the crab rangoon was under cooked with too much cream cheese. The Rangoon used to be excellent with it's own flavor now it taste just like any other Chinese restaurant. And again the hot brazed chicken used to be crispy with plenty of sauce. Not anymore. By looking at the chicken we couldn't fiqure out what kind of chicken it was and had to scrape the bottom for sauce to dicifer what it was.A real shame!Bring back the old owners or at least their recipes cooked like it used to be. Until that happens we won't be back.

We threw $75 worth of food in the trash can because it was worse than the cheapest food we could have gotten closer to our home! Too far out of our way to drive back. This restaurant has been our tradition for the last 21 years, but everything must come to an end. We will start a new tradition with a restaurant that cares about their customers.

We've been going for many years, unfortunately, the last couple of times have been a bit disappointing. One of our orders was sizzing rice soup, however, the puffy rice for the soup was not heated up and the soup was not super hot, therefore no sizzle. While the main courses were tasty, they were cold when they came to the table. Also, the server forgot our tea. It's a shame, not only because it was our favorite Chinese restaurant, but the options for outstanding Chinese cuisine are very few and far between in the West St. Louis County area.

This used to be amazing and I think since the ownership change it’s gone a bit down. I used to recommend crab rangoons from here to everyone and instead of being savory with an even ratio of cream cheese & crab - it lacks crab and is primarily sweet cream cheese. This used to be the best chinese restaurant in the STL area and it looks like I’ll be back on my hunt for another one.

Our family has been going to this restaurant for 25+ years and with the new ownership everything has changed. The food is not the same and we are very disappointed. We threw our meals in the trash and will not be returning. :o(

Apparently there are new owners? We've been going here for at least 20 years and it has been a staple when I go to the county, I always get the crab Rangoon and it's always delicious. My sister was in town last night and we made our way over there and noticed huge changes in the quality of everything. Not only that, but what was once the best crab Rangoon in town is now the same sickly sweet, concoction that you'll find it every other Chinese restaurant in St. Louis...to say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. This was one of my favorite restaurants that I would go to time and time again, nothing we had last night was good and it was all very overpriced.
