Just ordered breakfast for a friend that is helping me move. I got my food. He did not get his. The picture the DoorDash person took clearly shows HIS order is not in the bag. I would assume the store can see the picture DoorDash took, clearly showing there is only one order in the bag. Not 2. The store DID NOT offer an apology. They said we could drive to pick up the sandwich/meal; after I already told them I am in the process of moving with my friend. They did not offer any other solution and simply hung up. I was very polite the entire time. I also understand they are very busy and stuff happens. The young lady on the phone was just relaying messages from management. She did fine. All I am saying is if I am a manager and I told my customer I put their food in the bag and can see that the order was not delivered properly. I am apologizing, making it right for the customer (taking ownership of the issue at hand) and then taking up DoorDash's incompetence with DoorDash. In order to avoid a negative experience for a paying customer. They will never get my business, my friend is hungry, with no meal. The food that I got. Was mediocre at best. And obviously messed with. Again. This business chooses to use DoorDash. Unfortunate their management did not take ownership of this situation. The young lady on the phone was just doing her job by relaying what management told her. On top of all of this, in order to talk to an employee, I had to call their sister site in Kirkwood. It clearly states on the their answering machine at the Lemay location that you can only talk to someone Monday - Friday. How can you run a business with no way to contact the location? At the end of the day. I'm leaving this for others to read and hopefully for ownership to see and correct very easy customer issues so they don't happen to others. If all of this is by design. I would avoid giving them any money. If it is not by design. It's simply a learning opportunity for the store. I almost forgot. There was a piece of bacon the was not edible. It was super undercooked.

Whoever made the gooey butter cake. Obviously doesn't live in St. Louis. Has never been here or eat a gooey butter cake. They got a recipe of the internet and decided to make it their own. It was disgusting.

They always have what I'm looking for, and the quality is consistent. I've enjoyed their bakery goods since the 80's!

Went here for a sweet treat while running errands and was honestly underwhelmed. There wasn't a huge selection of desserts to pick from and it was dead. I got this cake and it just didn't do it for me. For the price of the cake, I expected better. I only ate a few bites and threw it away.

We've ordered cakes and pastries here for years, and we finally visited for breakfast. We both had omelets, which included rosemary potatoes and a bread choice. Everything was delicious! The potatoes were extra crispy and really tasty. The omelets were very fluffy. The server was very friendly and brought our food out to the table. Since it's fairly new, the cafe is very clean, and the decor is not fussy. We were here on Sunday morning, and they weren't too busy. Really good coffee, too! We will return soon and try lunch!

The food was great but way overpriced. Would be nice to have a clean table, but then they'd need dedicated servers.Think of a cozier Denny's meets Steam N Shake and you have this place.

We have been buying birthday cakes from McArthur's for years. Sometimes we choose a cake from the website, but more often, I call and ask them to decorate a cake with two or three of the recipient's favorite things and leave the rest up to the decorator. They do not disappoint. Our most recent cakes have been a green cheeked conure in a rainforest, a coral reef with a sting ray, and a sloth in a hammock on the beach. All have been clever, creative, and darling. Their yellow cake is the best anywhere. We usually skip the filling so we do not have to refrigerate. Having it delivered also really helps out.Parking: There is parking in front and back.

We had our wedding cake from here. The cake was delicious. The planning meeting was fast and easy - we just picked a display cake and did a taste test for the flavor we want. The cake turned out so pretty. They wrote up every detail we asked for in a file during the meeting, and they sent us the file. Only once or twice did they email to clarify something in the file. They took care of delivery too.We are so pleased. This was by the far the easiest vendor we worked with during our wedding planning. Thank you so much for the great service and the great cake!!

The food was good and it was super fresh. We ordered lunch and breakfast. I had the turkey melt with home made chips we also went with biscuits and gravy. Both were good. The restaurant is super clean (but it was just remodeled also). Our combined 2 meals was $34.00 - while the food was good it was not $20.00 a person (including tip). Especially when I have to empty my own plate and silverware (cafeteria style).I will eat there again but it will be by request of someone else.
