Mimi's Cafe

Unfortunately the service was very disappointing. Our food took over an hour to come out, and our server never checked in on us during the wait. He was hard to understand and came across as unhappy, which made communication difficult. The food itself was fine, but the lack of attention and overall attitude really took away from the experience.

Wrote an opinion for Mi MI's in Chesterfield, Missouri, but it got published under a California location. I guess it shows the problems the company is having. Disappointing as the staff in Chesterfield is wonderful, it is the building that has gone shabby.

Went here for lunch on Sunday and we’re very happy with the food and service. Chris was our server and he was very kind and attentive. It was clear by my observation of other patrons and staff members that they treat everyone amazing. Will come back for sure!

Since the new owners have taken over the restaurant has gone down hill. It's dirty, falling apart, bad service, and food is not as good anymore. I don't see it staying in business long. A family of 8 next to us up and left because after waiting over 20 minutes they could not even get drink orders taken. This used to be the best restaurant but the new owners suck and are running it into the ground. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I hadn't been to Mimi's in years but it was just as I remembered. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Update: the atmosphere was so so. The restaurant could really do with a remodel. The booths are ripped and the trim is falling off of them in some places. Also, I really don't like that the tables in the booths do not move.

We have been here many many times over the years and it has really declined. The potatoes were cooked in some places and not cooked in others. Is the bacon really bacon? It was tasteless The muffins were nuked so they were hard by the time they cooled. The upholstery had rips. Prices were high for what it was. The place was empty.
That will conclude our use of that restaurant.

The prices are a little high for the quality of food we received. My salmon dinner was very bland and had almost no seasonings. My husband's omelette was okay but his potatoes tasted like half a container of Lawrys was dumped on them. And our son's lemonade appeared to have mold at the bottom of the cup.

I ordered the Citrus Salmon, which was advertised as coming with orange, lemon, and lime slices. When the dish arrived, I was told they didn’t have lime not a huge issue, but still disappointing. The bigger problem was the side salad; it had several wilted leaves and made up nearly half the plate. For the price (almost $40 for my wife and me), I left still feeling hungry. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return for a second visit.

Tremendous muffins especially they come with your breakfast at no up charge. I haven't been to Mimi's in quiet awhile this visit made me miss stopping in here more often.

I did a Doordash order and had the Dubai Chocolate pancakes. SO GOOD, and they packed it so it was still warm when it got to me! There’s pistachio on the top and bottom pancakes. Great portions for the price!
