A delicious cake that my husband got me for my birthday and it was so cute!

We booked Sarah's Cake Shop to make our wedding cake for our fall 2024 wedding. The cake was just like we had envisioned and it tasted amazing. It was a hit at the wedding, and we got compliments from many of the guests.

We did a desert bar for our wedding without a cake. The pumpkin balls and gooey butter were the best! I wouldn’t recommend the brownie bites. One thing that is not clear in the contract are having to return the platters back to the bakery. Also we were paid up and all the sudden we had to put more money down for the platters. It didn’t seem organized at all in that regard. If I’m paying for a service I don’t feel we should have to deliver their items especially when I mentioned it they directed me to the contract which it DOES NOT specifically outline that. I wouldn’t book this place again. Response time was pretty slow too. Desserts good but not with the stress.

The cake was exactly what we envisioned—stunningly designed, with intricate details that matched our wedding theme perfectly. Note our flowers were placed by our florist.
Not only was the cake gorgeous, but it tasted absolutely divine! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was! We went with their classic almond flavor!
The delivery process was seamless as well. The team at Sarah's Cake Shop arrived on time(even with a 1.5hr drive), handled everything with such care, and set up the cake beautifully at the venue. They took all the stress out of the cake portion of our wedding day, and we are so grateful for that.

We were THRILLED with our wedding cake and dessert station! The best cake I’ve ever had. From the tasting & consultation, to the design and color matching with our logo, the delivery - everything was fantastic. Our only note is that florals covered the groom’s name on the cake topper. Everything else was perfection! We can’t wait for our free anniversary cake!

It was so fun designing a unique cake and dessert bar for our wedding with Sarah’s. The tasting made it hard to choose flavors; but we ended up with a traditional almond and raspberry jam, a marble, and an apple with brown butter buttercream cake. All of our guests were so impressed! The small desserts really elevated the look of the dessert table and it was all set up beautifully. They coordinated with the venue and florist for us so we didn’t have to worry about any of that. We can’t wait to pick up our complimentary anniversary cake in a year, and we’ll be back to get goodies for many events to come!

Not a good first encounter. Was very excited to try this place but will not be coming back. Due to a miscommunication I placed an order online to be picked up 8/1 and my sister was stopping by the shop and was going to pick up my order but instead mistakenly reordered what I had already paid for. This didn't become clear to me until last night so today I called to see if I could have that refunded dur to this mistake but was told by the store manager that he cannot refund due to the products no longer being good to sell....but then said the products were still good to eat for a few more days if I wanted to drive up to get them....Personally I feel like this is poor handling so I will take my business elsewhere.

We had such a great experience with our wedding cake I asked them to make dragon cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. I think they came out so good and they were such a hit.

Recently I tried to order a cake for my mother's 99th birthday and was having a hard time getting through to Sarah's voice mail. I visited Sarah's Cake Shop in Chesterfield, and explained how I had left a few messages, but to no avail. Even though it was Thursday afternoon, and I needed the cake on Friday morning, they apologized for the inconvenience and had the cake ready for me Friday morning. They even comped the beautiful cake for me again expressing regret for the mishap. Thank you Sarah's Cake Shop for your wonderful service, especially your kind manager!

Sarah's is a great local shop to stop by and grab an occasional treat for yourself or when you need something special for an event or holiday. They have a great selection of cupcakes and other treats that are always delicious. Sarah's carrot cake and carrot cake cupcakes are a family favorite for all of our holidays, but we have tried many treats and have loved them all.
