We had my niece’s 25th birthday here and I was a fabulous party. We asked for Becky to serve us which she always does with exuberant smiles and attention. Matt, Satchmo’s owner, was here and mingled with us like any bar/restaurant should. As a chef, this tells me volumes of how he runs his establishment. I religiously order the pork green chili(which is phenomenal) and the fish and chips were to die for, exactly how I like it. This place is the quintessential neighborhood...
I love this place. The food is delicious. The staff is great you should try it and they also renovated the place from old Satchmos and it looks a perfect inside even feels like home so if you read the reviews, I recommend you coming to this place because the food‘s good staff is good place looks amazing
We recently got back to satchmo's after it reopened earlier this year in July. I had the Lone Star Burger with steak fries and both were really tasty. We also had the spinach artichoke dip and that was really good as well. They updated the dining and bar area and it's fresh and clean, though I miss the gold paint color which brightened it up. We will definitely be back.
