I like Smashburger, nice burgers and wings. The Smash tots are delicious too. That said, I changed my rating on the restaurant from 4 to 2 because it’s been closed for the entire month of December without any clear explanation. There is a notice posted on the front door saying it would reopen on 12/12. Well apparently it is not true. They are running BOGO promotions now but since it is not open customers can’t take advantage of this offer in the St Louis area because both locations are “temporarily” closed. I began to doubt they will reopen again, which means the gift cards I got are worthless. Really disappointed.
Update (01/02/25) I drove by this location and found out while it remained closed, Google Map showed it's open. Why?

Smashburger has always been a favorite restaurant of mine. The burgers are always so flavorful and have some great toppings and great options. I have noticed that they changed their menu recently and taken off some of the items that I will usually get. I would not have to Find a new favorite. I do love their brussels sprouts but sometimes they can't be a little salty. Their sweet potato fries are also good. Usually, they are pretty fast with their service, but if there are a few more people there, they seem to be a little slower.

I’ve been coming here since 2011 and they never disappoint! Love the mushroom smash + grilled onion 💯
We stopped in after a family photo shoot nearby. It was our first time at this location. The food was good and accurate, and the service was great. The young lady working the cashier and dinning room was quick and helpful. It looked like they might have been short staffed just because I didn’t see more than 3 people working. But you wouldn’t know it. If it helps it was 11/23 around 2pm. Both her and the kitchen crew were great.
The last two times I’ve been here the burgers have been incredibly over salted and the service was very slow. This used to be a good spot for a burger but not anymore.

The place was empty on a Sunday evening I was interrupted mid order by a phone in customer and the clerk just ignored me to serve him The food was ok... Not worth the price, IMO

Tried this place for the first time and was blown away. It was AMAZING. The Smashed chicken is where it is at. Im trying to eat healthier so this was perfect as it's made out of ground chicken (not a huge turkey burger guy so this is right up my alley) and could not belive how good it was. The sweet potato fries were incredible. I literally said screw it and decided to get another chicken burger and got the scorching hot Waffle fries as I turned it into a cheat day. Didn't regret it one bit. The scorching hot fries have a great flavor and are not too spicy either. I tried some of the smash fries that another member of my party got too and couldn't believe how ridiculously good they were. Had to keep them out of my sight as I wanted to eat them all! The tots I tried were also excellent and the shake I sampled was just perfect. Me and my entire party WILL be back. Honestly just typing this up is making my mouth water!!! Would highly recommend to anyone to give this a shot. The smash sauce is where it's at
Vegetarian options: They have a whole vegetarian burger set up and it's actually really good too.
Dietary restrictions: Alot of diverse food options here and would highly recommend them
