The District by Hi-Pointe Drive-In

Been to several locations and it’s always the underwhelming season less burger with zero flavor. Just don’t know what else to say anymore. Much better places around town than these guys. Salt and pepper are your friend guys, unseasoned meat just doesn’t have much flavor.

Frankly this place is just not good. Food is not on oar with other locations, soda is always out and no the wait ppl are rude. Overall negative experience the 3 times i have been here

Got someone else’s meal and mine came out some time later. Special, cluck something was super thin chicken, unique fried red tomato, but needed pickles or something, way too much bread compared to thin protein. Fries are a ridiculous, tiny portion @almost $4. Tried the egg rolls but also needed something? It was weird. Not impressed and won’t eat there again. For some reason this app won’t allow pics on phone and I have them.

Greasy, soggy, cold.. they gave me a plain burger when I specifically asked for everything on it extremely disappointed and will never eat there again.

Food was good. Great atmosphere. But none of the employees we encountered would smile and they didn't seem as though they wanted to be there.

This location is close to my home so I go here frequently. The staff is friendly specially Daniel the manager who always makes you feel welcomed and showed me how to use their app to get max rewards. Food is great and I always go for the standard double cheeseburger.

Dietary restrictions: Hi pointe uses beef that is considered Halal. And is super delicious!

Unfortunately it was a disaster. Walked in at 6:20. Nobody in line. Placed my order with a tip which I hate to do before I receive the service. After waiting 30 minutes I went up to ask what is going on and they said there must be a problem with our system. The man assured me it would be out in less than 10 minutes. After another 20 minutes I went back up and the man was very nice but I said after 50 minutes this is crazy and got my money back. He said sorry and refunded my money. Never tip before they do the service.

We were out this way after biking the Katy Trail all day. The burgers and 4 Hands beer were great, but the amount of screaming kids running around brings the review substantially down!! Definitely stay in the city and enjoy the same without the obnoxious noise!

I typically take bad reviews with a grain of salt, but in this case, yes, it was bad. They couldn't make burgers while we were there, so we ended up getting chicken strips and fries. Chicken strips were burnt. Fries were eh. Won't go back.

Horrible service. Cold food. Poorly managed. No accountability.

Note: below is my original review. I do have to say that the GM did follow up with me and was very professional and made it right. Also explained to me how they have been planning on improving the process and it will be much better of an experience overall.

Ordered a burger and fries, kids chicken and fries, and a shake on a somewhat busy Friday. Waited 45 mins. Only the kids meal arrived and it was cold. I went and asked for hot fries and was given yet another cold basket that was just sitting under heating lamps next to the 10 other meals getting cold. Finally got the burger and fries 10 mins later- cold. When I yet again asked for hot food, no apology, no accountability. In fact, I was given another table number to wait as if it were a new order. Shake was never made until I complained about that as well. Horrible experience.

I didn’t want my money back (which I wasn’t offered anyway) I just wanted hot or even warm food. Biggest waste of $60 with a very unearned generous tip.

My friends ordered about 30 mins after us when the small rush was over and had the same issue. Meals served cold, and separate from eachother.

Management needs to realize how inefficient and ineffective their table number system is. The food runners look around for table numbers for 5-10 mins in some cases. Long enough to let food go cold.

Will never eat here again. But the food looked like it would have been good if it was not cold. And atmosphere is awesome. Such a shame.

Everytime I go in to get a grilled chicken sandwich it’s always fresh and the staff give excellent service!!
