Delicious food! Ribs were 10/10. We also had the Brussel sprouts and for ribs and they were all delicious. The perfect proportion of food to fill you up. We will definitely stop anytime we’re back in STL.

Ill start with the service. The guys were nice and helpful. No complaints there. The atmosphere was alright. Chairs are a little whack but not a big deal. The kicker here is that the food was lackluster. It was 98 dollars for 3 guys to have lunch and an appetizer. I got the brisket sandwich. It was good but for the price I don't think it was worth it in my opinion. The fries were great though. The appetizers was a fried corn style dish. It had good flavor but for the price again it was very lackluster. They were out of ribs(what they are known for) on a Saturday at 2 so they must have been busy the day before I assume.To summarize I don't think you shouldn't give this place a try. I just think for the price the quality is just not there. It was a disappointment in all honesty. The staff was great but the food was below average for what I would expect for a BBQ place. However, the redemption was fries and the flavor of the brisket and BBQ sauces.

The Stellar Hog has amazingly delicious food. The brisket plate and red bird sandwich was the best we've ever eaten. Tons of fries in the order, can't wait to go back for a second time!

Food was good. Presentation was lacking and portions were pretty small. $60 for 2 eating lunch. No pricing on the menu, only bottled water and bottled soda to choose from. Half the restaurant was blocked off by a soda machine. Just a bit confusing.

Service wasn't great but not because the one person in the place wasn't hustling. He was doing all that he could. But he was all alone. I honestly felt bad for him. Food, I had the turkey plate with seasonal vegetables and potato salad. Both sides could have used a little seasoning. They were a little bland. The turkey was way over cooked. To the point that the texture was actually chalky. I would come back and try them again but the place just wasn't very clean. The place needs a deep cleaning crew to go over it. Worst was the top of the trash can where you stack trays had what looked like weeks old dried up bbq sauce smeared on it. Which got me looking more closely and what I saw told me that while they probably take a stab at cleaning at times that it's been a while since there was a true deep clean done. Restaurants need to be clean.

Some of the best BBQ I’ve had anywhere. Sauces were fantastic. Same with the sides. Corned Beef, brisket, potato salad and chili. All incredible. A little on the price side even for BBQ but worth it. Staff is super friendly as well.
