First real Mexican food i have had in a long time. Excellent salsa and chops to start. I had the folded tacos, which is not what they are called on the menu. I asked for shredded beef instead of the chicken. They take the whole taco and deep fry it after putting the meat in. The pico on it was perfect, with lots of cilantro. The three of us ate for around 50 dollars and one if us had a margaritas. So good, very hot, portions were just right.
First time there, we both had the burrito special. It was very good, the service was not a quick as I am use to in a Mexican restaurant but was still reasonable. The food was chef's kiss. Will be going back.
I had zero idea of what to expect when I checked this place out. Small town Mexican restaurants can be iffy. This place though was a pleasant surprise. Chips and salsa are quite good. The main entrees are pretty on the mark with what you would find in other cities. The shining star though in this place is the grilled jalapeños. They are absolutely delicious. While not on the menu, you have to try them. Overall a great experience.
