I love the smoked meats Meat Hooks offer. The side dishes are good as well. The burt ends are so good! As a matter of fact, I eat at this restaurant every chance I get because it's amazing smoked meat.Don't forget to order nachos with burnt ends topped off with dip-dip.And... do not put sauce on the meat. Trust me, you will love the flavor of this places smoked meat.

All there meats are amazing. There sides are pretty good as well. Wish they had more of a selection as far as sides go. Also wish they had meals instead of pretty much having sandwiches. The owners and staff are all very nice and always welcome you with a smile.

This bricks and mortar place in Clever Mo; also has a mobile food truck. Today, I tried the combo lunch platter. Overall, a very solid option for BBQ. I give them kudos, for working out of mobile trailer...and (still having a product to be proud of: - brisket sandwich: They used a potato bun, which is always nice. The brisket had a good exterior crust on this day. Had a mild smoke flavor...and overall moisture level was acceptable. Likely a choice grade brisket...ans for that cut of meat; they did good. - pit beans: These homemade beans had a zippy tangy taste; bits of onion and red pepper. Now, would they benefit from a touch of sugar...yes...in my opinion. Give it a better balance of flavor; versus the bit of pinch they have. But hey, these beans (still) eat, all day long. - corn bread: a bit of a southern touch, serving cornbread with the bbq. Again, homemade and a smooth, moist, cornbread tasting cornbread. Top ever so lightly browned. The cornbread is excellent. Whether you're in Clever Mo or see the Meat Hooks food trailer around....you'll find yourself enjoying it all....
