Everyone was very friendly. We had a good chat with the owner, I believe. My sis and I got sandwiches, and they were so good. I ordered the Queen Kamehameha. It had an amazing honey cream cheese that tied the whole turkey sandwich together. It also had green apple slices, which gave it a nice crunch. I was pleasantly surprised.
Vegetarian options: I just happened to notice a sandwich that had no meat on it. I'm pretty sure they had meatless salads too.
Parking: There are a few spots right in front of the restaurant and then a full large parking lot for the whole square.

Requested bbq sauce for my huckleberry Finn sandwich. They don't have any. Only 2 options for sides. All sauces are made with mayo. Didn't have a server. She sat us came back took our order and someone else brought out the food and was the one who fixed my order. The next interaction with staff was when we paid. Very cute restaurant just needs some alternatives and better serving staff.

Stopped here for lunch as my group biked the Katy Trail. Right on the square, it’s near the other sights and shops you like plan to stop. Named after the old Ben Franklin Store in which it’s now located, this cafe has a cute, country vibe, cozy wooden atmosphere, and vintage feel. The food was delicious, and higher quality than what you’ll find in most towns along the trail. Staff was friendly, too.
We considered moving to this town after eating here! The food was amazing, and I can say it was probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The service was impeccable and the relaxed atmosphere was a nice change from riding in a uhaul from Louisiana to Canada. I wish I could have brought this place with us.

Stopped by to have lunch today as we were passing through town. Wow!!! The Thin Blue Line burger is the best burger I’ve ever had, and I’m not even exaggerating. Darling place, great ambiance and delicious food. Hubby had the Ben Franklin and he said it was great! Wish we lived closer to this gem. We’ll be sure to stop next time we’re headed to the lake.

The food was pretty good. The location and the old charm of the inside are what makes this place stand out. It's a turn of the century 5 and dime. They've retained a lot of the originality of it's former life.
