I was passing through town on my way from Springfield back to Kansas City and it was fairly late and I didn’t want fast food… so after a google search I stumbled upon this place. I called in the order and the nicest lady picked up the phone and took my to go order. She was just as friendly in person and we had a great chat and I told her that if this was as good as it looked and smelled I’d be writing a review immediately. She was certain I’d be happy with my choice.
So here I am…. JUST WOW. I have a high bar for Chinese food and this may have been the best I’ve ever had. I reluctantly let my husband eat some leftovers when I got home and he agreed! We will absolutely drive an hour just to come eat here in the near future.
I got: Springfield cashew chicken, beef and broccoli, and lo mein. I wish I could give this more than 5 ⭐️s.

Unfortunately, it isn't cut out to all the hype. The building is rundown, out of date, and pretty much dingy. Service absolutely sucked! Waitress was incognito after initial order was taken. No refills, no "can I get you anything?" Not even eye contact. Overall wasn't what I expected. But my belly got full and it was affordable.

I'm not entirely sure how slightly spicy slightly sweet ketchup makes general tso chicken. My fried rice was great but wow it's a bit sad when Walmart outperforms you taste wise.

My wife and I love how accommodating they are on special orders. We also enjoy going to the buffet, bc there is a soup there that my wife just absolutely loves.
