We were traveling through the area and looked for small town cafes to stop at. Clinton’s Cafe popped up. There was no sign, we thought maybe it was closed but when we went in we had a delicious breakfast. This is a small hometown cafe that’s a hit. Simple food, kind wait staff and cozy setting reminded me of growing up.

went here on way back from camping @ truman lake.....not a bad place for a small town. The waitress was pretty busy cuz she was only server. The mgr I assume was also helping.....so great teamwork the guests taken care of.

Love this place!! It’s quiet, quaint, and the owners are all around great people!! The food is excellent and spot on consistently delicious! I love that they have a great selection of dessert! Never a bad meal…super clean restaurant and very friendly efficient service! Rating 5

This was nice little find. We drove through Clinton on the way south and needed breakfast (at lunchtime) since no one ate before leaving. The only breakfast all day place in town was unexpectedly close for remodeling, so we ended up here. Breakfast was delish! I had the chorizo burrito and it wasn't the greasy, soggy mess that they often turn into. Hash browns were crispy and fantastic. I wanted an omelette, but the $8-10 omelettes came with nothing- not even toast. And a hash brown side was $2. So be aware that what typically comes with meals isn't necessarily typical here. The space isn't awe inspiring, but the service was outstanding.

I stopped in yesterday to get out of the rain while waiting on hubby to pick me up. The staff treated me like an old friend. The beer was cold and the best margarita I've ever had. Had onion ring. But when hubby arrived we shared a tenderloin with all the fixins. Recommend this place and we will definitely be back.
Good food. Friendly service. I recommend the mushroom swiss burger.
