We got there in time to do a breakfast round as they were switching to lunch. We really enjoyed the breakfast - more than the lunch. There were plenty of options for both, however.

Here at Dietz it's conveniently located just off Hwy 7 & hwy 13 crossroads in Clinton MO. A hub bub of activity with fast foods, gas stations, Walmart and various shopping stores. Everything you might want as you stop on your way down to Springfield or to Branson MO. Dietz welcomes their visitors with open doors and arms. A small city with a slower pace where you can sit back and take time out to rest from your journey, eat, reminisce, read the paper, chat with your friends, and remember when. Dietz has home-cooked food in abundance smorgasbord style, reasonably priced and you can help yourself. They have grandma's homemade pies and delectables too! So take time out and stop at this country restaurant and relax awhile! So come on down!

The kind of place you can easily eat a regrettable amount of delicious food really quickly! I appreciate the family owned aspect, it really carries over into all areas of the restaurant. I'm still smiling about the peach cobbler, tastes just like my grandma's used to!

Cheerful, helpful staff. Attentive to refills. Lots of variety, everything hot, fresh and tidy on buffet.
The food is always very good and plenty to choose from. Their desser section has a great selection as well. Service was great, but my one complaint would be that the younger boys restocking the buffet were using bad language openly around customers. I know cursing is a very common thing these days, but professionalism matters. Be respectful of the customers around you, especially the elders.
