This is a traditional rural feeling roadhouse with very good main course and appetizers the side veggies are canned which dings it hard and my roll was stale which dinged it hard for me taste and quality wise. But from an economics standpoint point and the local hangout stand point it makes sense. Another ding came from our server who was more interested in her conversation with her regulars but I noticed the other waitress was on top of all her customers so it is not a institutional but an individual concern . Would I stop by again when I am passing through? Hard YES. Would I go out of my way to stop there? no. As far as value, the prices are very good.

Service was fantastic. Food was great. Husband had the Reuben and fries and I had the grilled chicken bacon ranch wrap with fries. Portions were generous. Everything was clean including the restrooms. Would definitely return and recommend.

We had the chicken fried chicken this time and it was excellent. On previous visits I've had the pork loin and open face pot roast sandwich which were also excellent! Don't miss out on the green beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy, whether brown or white theses folks have it down.
