Disappointing BBQ. 2nd time in to give another try... Good BBQ is hard. Very friendly staff, cool building, good location. If I may offer a serious suggestion, Tightwad area needs an awesome breakfast diner. We get tired of having to drive to Clinton or Warsaw for breakfast. I'd bet this place could do really well rebranding with a breakfast concept with full service. And breakfast is a heck of a lot easier to please people with, than BBQ! Just an honest review, God bless!

Disgusting. Not sure how they are passing health inspections. It seems they are living there. Their clothes and skin were dirty and infected. Kids running all over barefoot. All food being micro waved.

I’m going to be real this place isn’t worth it super small plates and it’s so expensive and I hate saying this but the food was horrible. I got a pork and brisket dinner with two sides and it came out on a child sized plate and the sides looked like they have been fried in really old grease the brisket was an extra 9 dollars, pretty sure it was frozen and micro waved and it looked like it was a cafeteria scoop size amount. Also since when is giving someone just pulled pork and brisket pieces without bread or toast a thing? That was a bit off. Also I didn’t like the joke the women made when I asked where the bathroom was for my toddler. She looked me dead in the face and rudely said “ we don’t have one” waited until my husband gave her a look then she said “oh it’s over there I always wanted to say that to people” the only good thing about this place is there’s always room to park and it’s kinda cute on the inside but the food is a hell no and the price is insane for how much they give u.

Went there for the first time this evening and was so disappointed. The food was very small portions for what we paid for . And I mean small. The sides of potato salad and beans were not good at all. Runny and no taste. The burnt ends had a weird taste to them as well and small portion! The grab a menu and seat yourself wasn’t such a big deal but we spent way too much money for what we got. At least we didn’t have to leave a tip . Maybe that’s why they charge so much . Lol Even got cake for desert and it was dry .On my way out the door I told myself I will never go back . What a waste ! How they stay opened is beyond me . Sorry just had to be honest .Our bill was over 50.00 for two adults . Awfully expensive for what we got .

The 1st thing you'll notice as you enter the place, there's a dog barking at you, and lil kids running around behind where you order your food. The food here is very tasty. And they do have plenty of options. The ribs are delicious, the beans are amazing, w 3 different flavors of sauce, you'll find what you enjoy there. However, You'll definitely not get your tummy full, as the portions are very small, and very expensive.

The burnt ends were actually small squares of baked brisket. The smoked sausage was not even grilled let alone smoked. Both plates the pieces were cold in the middle. The mac&cheese was disgusting. It looked plastic and the taste was not cheese. The fries were soggy. Portions are very small for the price. The salt shaker was plastic and very sticky from being so dirty. Their kids had free range of the place. We saw them roam in and out of the kitchen. Had to listen to them while we were eating, they were hanging out at one of the tables. One of the kids stood by our table staring at us proceeded to pick his nose and eat it. When we were leaving the small child told us to clean our table then walked over to one of our plates and ate the piece of sausage left. The good reviews are apparently from the previous owners. This place is dirty and disgusting all the way around.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! Stopped in with no expectations but was surprised at the quality of the food. Smoked sausage was delicious, ribs were fall off the bone. Burnt ends were good and the sides were tasty! Be careful! The hot and spicy sauce will get your attention!!!!

Service was very welcoming. My husband and I ordered the 2 meat with 2 sides. The ribs were fall off the bone, cheesy corn was amazing, and my favorite was the smoked sausage with their hot and spicy bbq sauce. We ended up buying 3 bottles of the hot and spicy to go!

This is a great place for Tightwad! Friendly and CLEAN. Pricing a little high and the food was only fair. BUT it sure beats driving into Clinton or Sedalia especially after a hot day on the lake
