I debated on relating my experience eating tonight with you. I have always been pleased and I always get the tenderloin sandwiich.tonight, I am disappointed. It was over-done and the fries, which are usually good; was like they had been fried in old oil. I always share with my laberdoodle dog. She treated her bites like she was gnawing on a bone. I was unable to bite 1 inch from the edge. Again, I'm usually well pleased. I believe this was on the cook. It was around 6. I hope the young man that was cooking may check) this out.

Go for the ice cream, leave with the ice cream, it is all about the ice cream for me! Local, small town parking “rules” applied here, but truly most people are ordering and headed out, rather than staying. Nice little stop if headed through Cole Camp….or staying for a visit!

The tenderloin was plentiful, the pulled pork was smoky and flavorful. The fries and tots were hot with a bit of crunch - the tots being the better of the two. Only regret was not trying one of their burgers. After seeing one come out and the joy it brought the individual, it was a missed opportunity. Only means we’ll need to find our way back to Cole Camp again soon.
The Oreo Hurricane is their version of a DQ blizzard… only better. Significantly better.
The staff was friendly and willing to offer suggestions if you struggled to find just the right thing.

We stop at AJ’s Dairy Bar in Cole Camp often on the way home from the lake, and it never disappoints. The food is always great, and the outside walk-up vibe has that perfect old-school charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Honestly, it’s the best tenderloin in the area.
But what really sets AJ’s apart is the people. I accidentally left my wallet behind recently, and Amber went above and beyond to make sure I got it back right away. That kind of honesty and service is rare these days, and it really says everything you need to know about this place.
As the owner of a restaurant myself, I have a deep appreciation for businesses that deliver not just great food but also true hospitality. AJ’s checks every box — and then some. Highly recommend!

We used to go to the Dairy Bar after every volleyball game our girls had, if it was near...we haven't been for a few years and I decided to take my mother in law, as we were on a little roadtrip around her country stomping grounds. I asked to split the tenderloin basket...the staff are all so sweet and accommodating-they said no problem. When I was called to the pick up window, they had already split it into two separate containers for us-no mess for us to deal with! The tenderloin is huge and my mother in law loved it and STILL had half

We enjoy coming when we're in the area. This is about the only place I can find a Twix ice cream dessert. They were super accommodating and the ice cream was delivered at the window with lightning speed! We ate it on the outdoor patio and were thankful for the free ice water.
