Stopped for a second breakfast here on 10.7.2025 and was served by Alisha. Great food and excellent service! Highly recommend to anyone traveling on Interstate 44 through Missouri.

Service was exceptional! Glenna is friendly, competent and attentive! We love The Rocking Chair!
A fantastic combination of great food and friendly service mixed with a dash of diner nostalgia. If you're planning to be anywhere near Conway, this is a great stop to eat. If you're not planning on being around Conway, it's worth the drive!

I have been travelling in America for a month and having breakfast each morning. This is the best breakfast I have had while I have travelled. It had an excellent selection of foods cooked fresh each morning by the owner. I especially wanted to try a traditional American Breakfast. I love omlettes and she has a great egg dish, fruit salad, meat dishes, yummy mushrooms and lots more. A place not to miss if you want to try their biscuits and gravy. We were on a Gilligan's Route 66 Tour. Thank you Sam for finding this place.
I always have the Cowboy burger here or the buffet.. I like the Friday buffet with the Frog Legs! Always good !

We arrived after church so we were expecting a bit of a wait. Took 20 or so minutes to be asked what we would like to drink, keep in mind most people were already eating. An additional 8 minutes passed before we received our drinks, they weren't complicated, just 2 coffees and a few sodas. The waitress at this point disappears. One of my family members uses the restroom and finds the waitress leaving WITHOUT washing her hands. She then comes by 9 or so minutes later to ask what we would like to eat, after throwing silverware and straws on the table. Our drinks also came at this point. My coffee came in a dirty mug that had mashed potatoes on it and coffee stains all over the outside. Finally 23 minutes passed to receive our food, this place was fairly empty, and we had been here an hour at this point. Mine and several of my family members had cold food, and the others had overcooked food. Will not be coming back.

Stopped for a quick breakfast and ended up enjoying the breakfast buffet. Food was delicious and the sausage was the best. The server was so friendly and welcoming. If you want a great sit down restaurant with southern hospitality then this is the place to go. Will definitely return next time I pass through. What a diamond in the rough.

They were super busy when we arrived. The food was good. A lot of it. The gravy was more of a sweet gravy. Service was good for the number of ppl there in the restaurant. They were packed.
The buffet was clean and food appeared fresh.

They were very short staffed. Took forever to get drinks, had to get out own straws, silverware was just kinda thrown in the table, ran out of the meat which there was two choices on the buffet, ordered a starter and wasn't offered a box before leaving. Wasn't worth the price paid.
