The food was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Even though the place was packed, everyone working there was friendly and nice.

I stopped here today at 1:30 to try their tenderloin. Logically, they were sold out, so I tried one of their burgers. It was enormous and one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. If you get the chance, stop by here and grab something to eat. They only take cash or check.

Paula’s is one of our all time favorite restaurants! They serve mainly homestyle meals, and their prices that can’t be beat. The portions are often huge on items such as the hunters skillet (my husbands favorite!) omelettes, tenderloins, pizza etc. you’ll often find me there at least once a week!

I was extremely disappointed. I came up from South Central Oklahoma because I grew up in Craig and had heard so much about Paula's and their tenderloin so I ordered one...they were sold out at 11am on a Friday morning so I ordered a chicken strip basket. After waiting over 40 minutes my food never came. I was with my two sisters who also grew up in Craig. One ordered a rueban sandwich and the other also ordered the chicken stripe. Our food never came, so we left money for our drinks on the table and left. They were not all that busy. Our waitress never came back after taking our order to check on us or tell us anything about when out food would be out. I was extremely disappointed after hearing so much about this place.

Waited over an hour and ordered the daily special, beef ribeye sandwich, which was fatty, close to room temperature, and served with cold fries. People that came in after us were served before we were and the waitress never once asked if we wanted a refill. Want to like the place but it's too much of a disaster. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

This place is great, and worth the drive and wait.
I took my nephew to Paula's Cafe for lunch today because we like to spend our time trying new places each Friday. Anyway, we drove two hours to try this place and we were not disappointed! We arrived at 1:35pm and there were no empty tables, but another family was kind enough to let us sit with them. We had a good time talking and looking around the dining room. The service was excellent, even though they were not expecting such a large crowd today. We waited for about 45-50 minutes for the food to arrive, but they were upfront with us on the ETA when we first walked in. Unfortunately, we came for the tenderloin sandwich which they had sold out before we arrived (they told us they sold out when we walked in as well), but we had driven two hours and we would be sure to get something else to try.
My nephew and I both got the Paula's Burger with the 1lb patty, one slice of apple pie for him, and a couple waters. The burgers were great, though a bit messy. Be sure to gather your napkins before your first bite. I'm told the apple pie was delicious, and it did look amazing. Next time I will save space for my own slice.

I don't know how I was able to eat the whole thing, but I paid for it later with my food coma after my 2 hour trip home.

We will definitely return to try the tenderloin.
