Excellent smash burger and excellent place

My husband & I LOVE this place! One of our fav things to do is jump on the Harley or the convertible & drive to Festus for some Gordon’s burgers. It’s almost always a positive experience, and we understand hard days better than anyone. Believe me. But with that being said, yall can’t be sending out an order of onion rings with 4 onion rings. This photo was from our last visit (I’ll try to include it) and the window worker girl had poor an attitude Wednesday night & so we didn’t bother to say anything. The place was pretty busy, and we were full from our burgers & fries & it wasn’t worth the potential attitude, bc we would have returned the tone at that point. We didn’t want to potentially ruin this place for us for good. Just do better, we felt like we were served someone’s leftovers. Didn’t touch them.

Been a HUGE fan of Gordon's Stoplight since the 60's❣️❣️ Best burger joint in our area .... and the chili has ALWAYS been the BEST❣️ The only place I know of where the customer can go in, sit at the counter & watch them cook your food 😍 Great service ... Great Food ... GREAT PLACE 😋

This is another wonderful classic American diner. Certainly worth taking a few minutes off the interstate to get to. There are 20 stools for seating that surround a long counter. Since 1948 they have been serving great old fashioned smashed burgers. The double cheeseburger was excellent. The onion rings were crispy and tasty. The fries are good and the smaller cut style. You watch all your food being cooked just a few feet away from your seat. The homemade lemonade was delicious. A quaint atmosphere with fun, talkative, friendly service. The staff enjoy their jobs and endeavor to provide your food quickly. Highly recommend. Oh, it's cash only. ATM available onsite.

Gordon’s is always a favorite, the burgers, cheese fries, the chili, it’s all very very good. They are always super fast to get your food out and servers are always super friendly! Do yourself a favor and check the out, will not be disappointed!
