This is a charming little bakery in Cuba. Their atmosphere is very peaceful, and their food is wonderful. Everything is made from scratch.
My favorite thing they offer are their oatmeal raisin cookies.

Haven’t tried this place yet but have heard good things about it
On our way to Steelville MO we stopped for lunch at the Cuba Bakery and Deli. This was a cute little spot to stop and have lunch. There was only one person working today and he was on fire capturing everyone’s orders, making the food and running the register. It took about 15 mins to get a sandwich but it was worth it bedside there were not too many spots around that were open.
We all ordered a sandwich with a dill pickle and waters. We also picked up some banana bread that was In the store. You are able to purchase bread, ice cream and other baked goods in the store that are ready to go.
The food was good and the hospitality of that ow guy was on point. We normally come out to Steelville once per year and we will make sure we come back through.
They also served coffee and cold drinks. Plenty of parking out front and a cool country vibe.

I was disappointed. It just wasn't what I expected. It didn't seem like you were in a bakery. There was no fresh bread, cookies, or pastry. I bought some chocolate candy and it seemed stale. The owners and staff were super nice, but I won't go back.

Ordered a strawberry cheesecake for a birthday when i went to pick it up i was charged close to $30 which wasn’t a issue if it wasn’t falling apart and just had frozen strawberry dumped on the top, had to have a family member help to dress the cake to make it halfway presentable, the cake itself was way overcooked I would not recommend at all overpriced and low quality work. Not surprised at all they are selling was a much better place when it was owned by the Mennonite family.
First time visitor. Very positive experience!!
The lady running the place was very friendly and helpful. The chicken taco soup was EXCELLENT.
I also ordered a salad to go with it and a to go sandwich for tomorrow. Ended up being full after just the soup. Someone commented about the prices earlier. My counterpoint would be that the servings are very generous and obviously very fresh. You do get what you pay for...
I will be back!
Thanks again
