I don’t do that many reviews. But a buddy of mine and myself were talking on the phone this morning. My friend was commenting how bad restaurants are nowadays at truck stops and all the good waitresses are gone. He skipped his breakfast at an iron skillet/Petro and settled for a breakfast sandwich at the store. Boy am I glad I was thinking breakfast this early afternoon, because of his story. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time! I got a breakfast deal with 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a waffle substitute for toast. Best waffle I’ve had in a couple years. The flavor of the waffle itself was right up to par (not a heavy waffle either). The rest of my breakfast was excellent too. My waitress was Cassie, she was definitely a charm. My coffee never even thought about going dry. And I drink coffee at a pretty good pace. She’s one of the best I’ve ever had. She deserves a lot of credit. And her co-waitresses seemed pretty good too. One stopped by to check on me a couple times. The locals seem to stop in pretty regularly and they have a great repertoire with them as they work. I’m telling you, from myself and my friend that live on these roads during the week. Restaurants and waitresses like Dottie’s are a rare gem! Try and see for yourself…

The food and service has really went down hill fast. They have took half of the menu away not to mention it has false descriptions. Order chicken strips…. they went from huge to finger strips…except on the menu. Description didn’t change and price actually went up. They have a couple good waitresses, Katie, Bonnie and Nickie. Only 1 good cook out of all of them. I truly hate to eat there if she’s not working. Her name is Kitna. But I do enjoy the environment. God bless you all.

Worse service I have ever seen ..I left after waiting for almost 30 minutes. No water , menu .. nothing the waitress walked by a bunch of times....I seen people waiting at cash register for a long time..no body to help them..Overall piss poor service..I won't come back

Service is bad ?? we were waiting for our food around 45mins, were only few customers in the restaurant. Soup was cold. Sitting with garbage on the table all the time. Floor was dirty, first and last time?Would not recommend.

Been coming here to eat since 2009 . I came here to eat with my truck driving trainer. Always gotten great service and good food sometimes I was the only BLACK customer in the restaurant but I always got great service from the staff and good food. Would definitely recommend to All travelers and drivers to come on by . ?

Nice stopover in the TA Travel Assist truck stop at Cuba MO. Back but hood breakfast and very friendly service when ch is what counts when out on the road. Clean, friendly and tasty.

The waitress Emily was not going to allow me to order from the kids menu because she didn’t know that I had a child. Which is completely stupid. It is not her business if I have a child the food food took forever to come out . 10out of ten won’t come here

Have a food poisoning here- can't work couple days after eat here- DO NOT RECOMMENDED !!!! and you can't wait inside - if want you breakfast to go.... 0/10 star- absolutely should to be renovated or change your management as soon as you still have some last customers...
