Normally I do not bother writing reviews for fast food places as you know what to expect. We were on vacation and looking for lunch and were happy to see a Hardee’s as there are none in the area we live in so we thought it would be a treat. Since we had to use the bathroom as well, we went inside instead of using the drive through. Once we got in, we saw a few people ahead of us, but the big problem was there were only two people in total working, the cook and then the cashier so they were definitely understaffed. As a result, things moved very slowly. At a couple of points, we were thinking about just leaving, but for better (or worse) we stuck it out. Some people in line did leave. I really felt bad for the cashier, as he was a middled age man and he was trying to go as fast as possible and you could tell he was frustrated and stressed, and I wouldn’t surprise me if he quits because he shouldn’t be put in this position to start with. We tried to be as pleasant with him as possible as we did not want to make it worse, and he ‘accidentally’ gave us an extra drink cup as it was his way of saying sorry for the wait. As for the food itself, once we finally got it, it was good. It was probably close to 30 minutes once we arrived and then we finally got our food. However, it was unacceptable to be so short staffed and judging by the Google reviews this place has had other issues so if we were ever back in the area, we will go somewhere else.

Hot ham & cheeses sandwich was great, as usual. I'm picky about French fries, & the fries tonight was soggy, and tasted like they'd been fried a while before we got them. Got the apple turnovers feel hot in their containers but will save for midnight snack.

I have had some issues with Hardee’s lately with how my food comes out. Today I asked for fresh fries and good thing I tried them before I left because they were not fresh at all !! I walked in and told the manager that I ordered fresh fries and I wanted fresh. Asked her what she wanted done with the original ones and she ignored me and walked away. So I left them on the counter. Today is the last day I think I will be going to Cuba Hardee’s…

Even with their closing crew only have two employees they did an amazing job. The Frisco I had was amazing. And the curly fries were pretty crispy. Keep up the good work Chey & Dustin
