I used to love it before the original owner passed away.. now it's bland and nothing like it once was. my husband and I came in. spent almost $100 and took all the food but 3 bites to our dogs.
Brisket, if that is what it is, is in cube chunks, not sliced, and is very chewy. Can't see any cross grain.
First time visit but definitely not the last! I wish I took pictures of the place, the food, the staff and the company! But I was too in the moment for pictures! Zero disappointment…. by far exceeded any expectations I would’ve had if I had any. I did enjoy the bbq nachos which was not lacking at all in flavor and amount of toppings! Not only was the food amazing, but the stunningly beautiful girls working there ended made my adventure there in the sweetest way and filled my heart more than I think they knew. Wish more places were like this!
This is hands down the best BBQ I think I’ve ever had. Every time we go it’s clean, inviting and so delicious.
Wonderful BBQ.

No steak available. Annoying distorted music speakers or music source.

Just passed this place on our journey across America on the Mother Road. As we needed the bathroom we stopped and called in. The food smelled amazing and the place was full of families and fingers on the mother road. We had the peach and the cherry cobbler with ice cream. The pie was hot and home made and the ice cream was lovely. I am so glad we called in as the atmosphere was great, the staff including our waitress was really friendly and informative and attentive to us. We were made to feel special. Such a delight. Don't miss this place because you will not be disappointed. The portions looked generous. It was clean inside and the wooden furniture made for the true smoke house effect.

Very underseasoned food. Brisket was dry as well as the broasted chicken.

We stopped here on our Route 66 journey. The building itself is fantastic and we liked the atmosphere. The bathrooms are unkept and smell. The floor at our table was sticky. We saw on the website that beer and wine were served but they are not. We ordered the sampler platter. The meat and sweet potato was lukewarm. There was sauce on the table but you could tell the containers had not been wiped down in awhile as they were very sticky to the touch.

So our relatives recommended this spot for bbq pork but on arrival I saw they had broasted chicken all you can eat. So I made the mistake of ordering it because I haven’t had it for a while. Normally when I ordered this at other places it’s a minimum of 20-30 minutes wait time. Here it was out in about 10 minutes. The chicken was very dark brown and tasted burnt (though it was extremely hot) the breading on the chicken almost made it look deformed. My side of baked beans was not even warm and mashed potatoes barely warm but tasted like instant spuds. Our server Theresa was fantastic! I didn’t complain I just chalked it up to a live and learn experience. My wife had a coconut cream pie which she said was great along with bbq pork and Cole slaw which she enjoyed! Bottom line the pork may be delicious (I don’t know since I got chicken) but don’t order broasted chicken and if you do you can always peel the skin and breading off. Finally my wife agreed her chicken tasted burnt as well.
