Been to Riviera's many time, the ambiance is colorful, cheerful, and what makes them the best in the area is their consistency. Margaritas have always been perfectly balanced i.e., not too much ice and one can taste the tequila, the beef tip, not ground beef chimmichanga plates have always been perfect. It has the Pico de Gallo, shredded lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and of course refried beans and rice. The fried ice-cream is incredible.

We go to Riviera Maya Mexican Restaurant about every week. It's our time to meet with close friends and celebrate with each other. They serve "THE BEST" frozen Margaritas and food with a wide selection to choose from and a cheerful, fun environment! If you have never been there, you must go. This Restaurant is so beautiful and colorful. I could sit for days looking at all the beautiful, colorful artwork on the walls and seating areas. It's just absolutely beautiful there!!

Such a beautiful and amazing place that we accidentally found. The food was amazing and as authentic as you can get in this region. Service was quick and friendly. They even accommodated our pet dog buy giving us a seat at the patio. They did not even charge us "automatic gratuity" even though we were a lager party of 16 people. Highly recommend.

We were disappointed in our meals at this restaurant because the vegetarian fajitas just did not taste right. Not sure if it was the quality of the vegetables or the type of cooking oil they used. Both our meals came with rice and beans which were good but barely lukewarm when served. We ordered guacamole and it was dark as if store bought or made a while ago without any Lime. It was extremely bland with no hint of any onion or cilantro. The portions were plentiful but fell short with flavor and temperature. The menu had dried taco sauce which was off putting.

Foods usually good but don’t order carry out. You get half the portion you’d normally get. We always order the same thing. When we picked up our food it was a child’s portion. Went in to ask about it and the older woman just blew me off about it.

Service was terrible waiter left drinks and chips/salsa empty for over 20 min ...food was not only incorrect when it arrived it was cold to the touch ... when notified waiter offered to "heat it up" hopefully Santiago gives us a better experience in the future but tonight definitely was unacceptable
