What a hidden gem! My mom, 2 cousins & myself were headed to St James & decided to stop in Cuba at Shelly's Cafe after seeing the great reviews. We were not disappointed! The food was fantastic! We were waited on by a very nice lady named Becky. We enjoyed reading the funny signs that are hung up all over the place, they gave us all a good belly laugh! Very cozy hometown feel! They keep a very clean restaurant. I was watching them wipe down the stove and back splash! Very friendly people! We even got to meet Shelly herself, who was extremely kind! I had the biscuits and gravy platter and my family had chili dogs and we were all beyond impressed!! I highly recommend stopping into Shelly's and seeing how fantastic the food and service are for yourself! You'll be glad you did! See you again soon Shelly and Becky! 🥰

Stopped in while doing Route 66 (Cuba well worth stopping at btw). Food was excellent (burgers phenomenal) & lovely people. Definitely worth stopping for a bite to eat. Excellent.

Off the beaten path on old Route 66 in Cuba MO. Best veggie omelet and hash browns EVER! Friendly wait staff and mostly local clientele, we stumbled on this place en route to Branson. Thanks, Shelly!
