Great food and friendly service. It’s a nicer “hole in the wall,” but that’s what it is. Nice enough for a casual date and definitely a great quick dinner spot.
We had drinks and chips and salsa while waiting for a to-go order to take home. Margaritas are a mix, but they were good and strong. Chips were store bought, but warmed up. Salsa was good. Employees were friendly and it’s definitely a family place- there was an adorable toddler keeping an eye on the restaurant.
Our meals were really good and the portions were generous.
My partner and I are both prior military and have spent time in places known for their Mexican food. It’s hard to find decent Mexican food in Missouri. This is definitely the best we’ve found in the area. We will be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good Mexican food spot.

I ordered a margarita with a side shot of tequila, where in plain English did I ask for a Cadillac margarita? Get charged for a Cadillac margarita, confront the server, he goes and changes the bill and fluffs it to cover the “extra expense of the Cadillac that I didn’t order”. You may wonder how he fluffed the bill? Well a Jalisco burrito is $13.99 why did I get charged over $14 on the ticket, girlfriend got a surcharge on her chimichanga to help cover it too, was supposed to be $10.99 and got charged $12.03! Where on the menu you going to find a product ending with .03 cents ! Who does that ?

The food was edible I guess, my daughter got the nachos and there was a large amount of grease at the bottom of her bowl and you couldn't even see the chips. My beef for my fajitas was sliced super thin and small which in turn some pieces ended up burnt and the meat was dried out. Had to wait a couple minutes after getting the meat before I got the tortillas and sour cream rice etc.

The food was great, delicious. The service was not good. We asked for more Queso and she literally said NO, she charged us $10 for extra Queso, we had to say an uncharged is fine in order to get extra. Someone who wasn't our waitress filled our drinks and chips while she walked by several times. I asked for extra chicken, got charged but didn't get any extra chicken. Attitude was cold and uninviting.

This is our new favorite mexican restaurant. The place is always clean (did have buckets catching drips once when it had been raining), staff is attentive, & food has always been good. The average time from placing an order to getting food is about 7 min (yes, I timed them cause it seemed so fast the 1st couple of times ?) I always get the Jalisco Special but started requesting the cheese on the side (sometimes there's a bit too much).
Parking: Depending on the time of day & how busy they are, sometimes we have to make a trip around the block to park or park on the side street, but it's not a big deal.
