This is THE Mexican restaurant to visit in DeSoto. The other place in town has the tables too close together and the service is mediocre at best. We found El Lobo Rojo a couple years ago and absolutely love it. The service is spectacular, the food is great, and the dining area is clean.
Great food and friendly service. It’s a nicer “hole in the wall,” but that’s what it is. Nice enough for a casual date and definitely a great quick dinner spot.

The food was edible I guess, my daughter got the nachos and there was a large amount of grease at the bottom of her bowl and you couldn't even see the chips. My beef for my fajitas was sliced super thin and small which in turn some pieces ended up burnt and the meat was dried out. Had to wait a couple minutes after getting the meat before I got the tortillas and sour cream rice etc.
