Very disappointed...we had been given rave reviews so we tried it. Service was very slow, and food was not what we expected....low quality for the price, the food came out luke warm, and very greasy.

The food was great after an hour and half of waiting from when we were sat to receiving food. Some wait was expected due to it being very busy and a Saturday dinner though. Would absolutely go again but not at peak meal hours.

Oh! Poor DeSoto! Ya lost one of the coolest eateries to ever grace your town! Thank goodness Crystal City and the new DOGHOUSE location is only 8 miles away! I had the barbecue pulled pork french fries. It gave the "loaded potato" a whole new meaning. The portion far outweighed the price. Keep on rockin' it Troy!

The Doghouse is a family favorite. The fried chicken is excellent, but I'm a burger gal myself. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger on the donut! Yes, I ate that whole thing, and I'd do it again!!!!

We stopped by this establishment on our way to a Blues game on a Thursday evening. Our wait time was limited. The appetizer came out quickly and it was very good. We had the pick 3 sampler with the mozzarella sticks, toasted ravioli and Mac and cheese bites. All were fantastic and served in a dog bowl. :-) I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. I guess all of their burgers come on Texas toast (a picture on the menu did show that), but my personal preference is a bun. Either way the burger was phenomenal. My only complaint was the bacon was less than subpar. I expected fresh, thick cut bacon and what I got was the paper then bacon like you get at McDonald’s. Minor complaint compared to the whole experience which as 5+ stars. All other food ordered (the double burger and boneless wings) were good and tasty. Cheese fries were not the greatest either, not sure why. The cheese just tasted funny. The staff waited on us wonderfully and overall this was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

We love visiting non-chain restaurants and this place is as local as it gets. Very casual atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and courteous. The fare offered is very different from other choices in the area which makes it unique. The food was very good and I have now visited 3 times and will surely return.

Well honestly the food tasted good but before I could finish I bit into and pulled out a strand of long red hair. Meal was compted and was offered another burger, so the staff was great. The problem is it was my first time eating here, so I'm not going to be coming back.

If you're craving an enormous portion of food and want to experience it out of a dog bowl... This is your place. I had no idea what to expect coming in here. I was extremely impressed with the quality and quantity of the dishes. Guarantee you'll need a to-go bag because they load the portion in this place. Great stuff ? enjoy your meal.
