I was looking for something fresh and healthy and this place totally hit the spot! The food was delicious! All the veggies were super fresh and they had a variety of sauces with amazing flavors! That said, the Miso soup could have used more flavor. I didn't care for the Tractor brqnd soda selection either. The lemonade was delicious though! I have to give them a 1 out of 5 on the Environmental Scale. 99% of the products they use to serve the food are plastic. I think it's extremely shortsighted for companies/restaurants that serve seafood to serve their food on the very thing that is literally choking their product to death. AND, they don't offer an option to recycle the plastic. We can do better than plastic.

This place has yet to get my order right. I ask for cauliflower rice and I get white rice with just an “oh, you asked for cauliflower? Do you want me to remake it?” No, because not only can they not get the order correct but it takes them forever to make it. A bowl that can be made in less than 5 minutes everywhere else takes over 20 here, and that’s just if no one else is in the restaurant. At this point it’s actually quicker for me to drive further to PokeDoke in Kirkwood than it is to go here. And at least my order is correct there.
ETA: If you have not seen your staff take 20minues or more to make a bowl, you need to visit your restaurant. I was there to get a to go order for 27 minutes last Thursday and no other customers were in the store. Every single piece of fish was weighed and little pieces were added in and out over and over again to get the correct weight. The sauce was added, and then the next type of fish was weighed again. Then the items for the rest of the bowl were added and the bowl was dropped, so the process started all over. This is not "fast" casual. This has happened multiple times. Another time, the whole bowl was made (again, took longer than it needed to) and when I looked at it at the end it was white rice instead of cauliflower rice. I just took the bowl at that point because I had to get back to work and couldn't wait the excruciatingly long time to precisely weigh out another bowl.

Awful. Canceled order an hour before they closed. Don’t waste your time.

The lady at the counter was very helpful and answered all my questions with a smile. Even offered me samples. I’ll absolutely be back.

So disappointed with my latest Koibito Poke order. I have been a loyal customer and have visited in person as well as ordered online many times before. I just placed an order for 2 medium poke bowls with spicy tuna, crab and octopus and wow- what a let down. Neither bowl was even HALF of the way filled, both bowls were missing the spicy tuna altogether, neither bowl had the sauces requested and the there was maybe one piece of octopus and a tiny amount of crab. Extremely disappointed, especially when they are charging $17.25/bowl. Will not be coming back after this experience. Plenty of other poke places for better prices and larger (and correct) quantities.

First of all, I don’t like poke, but my wife does. Compared to other poke restaurants, Koibito is great for non-poke lovers. I got their chicken bowl and it was excellent. I got Asian chicken with white rice, teriyaki sauce, edamame, green onions, avocado, and crispy garlic and it was delicious. My wife got the triple tuna bowl and really liked it.
There’s a small patio and that’s where we sat, but the inside of the restaurant is nice and clean as well.
Overall, a great experience for both poke and non-poke lovers!

Love it here. I would go to this place 3 times a week if I didn't have any self respect or decency.
My only critique is to make sure you keep an eye when they start putting sauce on it. They will DOUSE your bowl on sauce if you don't stop em early.

My wife and I love Koibito and are frequent visitor’s for lunch and dinner. The bowls are amazing and the staff provide exceptional service. Huge shout out to Jon who always greets us with a smile and we enjoy the few minutes conversing as he prepares our bowls. We will keep coming back.

It was my first time here. I got a promotion, so I tried it out. There was only one staff by that time and she was very apologetic because she has her hands full. We were about 5 sets of people ordering in store, plus the online orders that she was handling. You could see she was struggling and yet she was saying sorry because there was supposed to be another staff. Nevertheless, I waited and I don't regret it a bit! The food was great and fresh! I highly recommend it!
