The Egg & I Restaurants

Food was good, but not the best, got our food wrong 3 times and we ended up just taking what we got, server wasn't very friendly and didn't listen to what we ordered despite repeating it 3 times. With that said they had a rush and seemed understaffed, but probably won't be going back. Can get more food and better food for the money. Coffee was good though so good on them.

Last time we came here it was horrible. We were given a free meal coupon for two due to the bad experience. We used it today and the service and food was just as bad. Hair in my drink and in my food.... again. Took 50 minutes to get our food which was cold. Waitress never checked on us. Several tables ended up leaving due to the bad service. This place has potential but staff needs to be trained and the service needs be adjusted extremely unless you want your restaurant to go out of business. Word of mouth travels just as fast as reviews.

The food is great but the service wasn't. This was the 2nd time visiting this location. Just like this first time, it took a very long time to get our food (11am). 3 of us dined and 2 of us received our meals in 20min the 3rd meal took another 7min. When the 3rd meal came out it was wrong and they had to remake it.

My husband and I Loved the food and the customer service was great. We can't wait to return.

I had high expectations for a breakfast place named after eggs. My Wife and I always split a 3-egg omelet and usually replace the toast with pancakes. We weren't very hungry this morning so opted out of the pancakes. We should have ordered them. The omelet was small. The portion of potatoes was really small. The omelet was bland. The tomatoes in the omelet was one large chunk. We left hungry and not satisfied with the omelet. We will keep looking for a good breakfast restaurant near our new home.

It might've been nice food but we never found out. We were seated outside and then no one came to serve us, no one! No water, no introduction of the server, we were just forgotten. In the end after a veryyy long wait we just got up and left. I understand when a place is busy, it is a holiday weekend but it was not OK to totally ignore us and not even offer us water.

My husband and I went here this morning for my birthday brunch. The tables were very dirty as well as the booths, with crumbs all over them. The hostess, with dark hair, didn't offer to clean it off, we had to ask her, and then she huffed and puffed because she had to do it and still didn't wipe off the seats. Then our waitress, who who was named Ashley, brought us cold food, forgot my bacon, didn't bring us straws and when I asked her if she was the coffee girl or our waitress she said " if only my job was that easy. " I thought it was going to be a classy place for brunch but I was wrong.

It was okay. The Patriot Waffle was good, but the waitress forget to bring syrup for it. The over-easy eggs I ordered were underdone so that some of the whites were still runny. The bacon was also over-fried and all crunch and became like crumbled powder when I took a bite. Not impressed.

The scrambled eggs were overdone. They had that dark brown crustiness to them which makes them taste really weird. The bacon was good. I got an English muffin which was probably in the toaster 3 seconds. It was still real soft and mushy..

Food flavor was Eggcellent..sorry couldn't help myself. Staff was courteous. Will assume a bit short staffed due to having to ask for a few things multiple times.Food arrived hot and in a timely manner. Asked for eggs over medium..eggs were closer to over hard since no yellow moved at all. Minor error. OVERALL would dine at The Egg & I again. Good sized sidewalk al fresco dinning area with well tended flowers.

First time here and the worst breakfast experience ever. Our party of fives 30 minute wait turn into an hour. Once we ordered 1/2 of our food took about 20 minutes not to bad... However the other 1/2 consisting of by far the worst breakfast burrito ever (McDonald's breakfast burrito is better) took another 10.. Nothing was hot yet the bacon was burnt. I did inform the server and she apologized I also spoke to the cashier when she asked about our experience she offered to get the manager however I declined as I was already aggravated and just wanted to pay and go. If you ever go I would avoid the breakfast burrito at all cost. For the price there are far better breakfast establishments with better quality food.
