Three Kings Public House

I was able to make a reservation on Open Table for 20 April even though the restaurant was closed for Easter. I feel the restaurant should have updated their information so the reservation couldn't have been made. I even received a reminder notice the day before so I had no reason to think the restaurant wouldn't be open.

Great experience! We knew it was not the ambiance for Valentines but we still had fun. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

Food was good but I will be back to try some of the beer selection they had and because Elise was a fantastic and extremely attentive waitress even on a very busy night.

Don't know if this is an opentable issue or a restaurant issue. Maybe the review program should distinguish between the two or allow the survey to be modified for a non—dining experience? Add N/A options? Either way someone should address. We generally enjoy going to this restaurant but had a bad experience this last time. We are also regular users of opentable. Typically very helpful. Thanks for the app! We had made a reservation at this restaurant using opentable since it showed availability in the app. Showed up on time. Hostess desk claimed they did not honor reservations on Friday nights? And the wait time would be at least 1 hour. No thx. We rejected the offer to wait. It was a waste of our time driving there. The restaurant also did not contact us to inform us of any issues, prior to our arrival. Weirdly, the app said we were actively dining when I went into the app after the refusal to recognize our reservation. So I'm guessing the hostess desk had marked us as having arrived and had been seated. We could not find a way to cancel the reservation in the app, nor could we make a different reservation somewhere else since apparently duplicate reservations are forbidden.

Our server was Corey from the bar and he didn't accept your job with waiting on us and starting us. The food was wonderful. I had the impossible burger, which was one of the best ones I've had. My husband had the fish and chips which they gave him a huge portion . I also had their house salad, which was very good. I had a experience and I will be back again.

I really like 3 kings, they are one of the better "bar amd grill" style places in st louis. The food and drinks are very good and the staff is always on it.

Love the flamethrower smash burger with fries. When I order pickup I have to check my order before leaving because they’ve forgotten to add the pickle, lettuce, tomato and onions on several occasions. Their fish and chips is tasty as well. The atmosphere isn’t for me but nonetheless decorated decently.

Good food, and very good service, when it's not a rush. Do yourself a favor and go there when it's not happy hour, and you'll really enjoy your time there.

As for the food, they will nickel and dime you if they get the chance. For example, I had the gyro salad and they give a couple small slices of pita so when you ask for more, they want to charge you for more slices. Not a pleasant experience to have to ask for more of what they should have put on the plate to begin with.

We went there for a quick lunch and instead ended up spending an hour and a half here. Half of that time was spent just waiting for a check. The food was pretty bad and I had an empty drink for about an hour. 1/10 would not recommend.

The lobster bisque is a must have here; it’s delicious! The rest of the food is great here also, especially the seafood and salad. The Poki Bowl was a surprise to see on the menu, and I greatly enjoyed it.
I give this place 4 stars only because the high-top seats get uncomfortable after about 45 minutes, and coffee breath/cigarette smoke are not smells I want to be smelling from my server.
