The food smelled amazing but no one was working the front counter or register. After 15 to 20 minutes we started to give up and leave. Only offers combos big enough to feed 2 or 3 people for about the expected price. Didn't see a kids menu.

I could have sworn the BBQ baked potato used to be bigger. Either way, it was delicious! We went thru the drive-thru, and it was understandably busy on a Friday night.

Gave me a bbq brisket sandwich, but w no bbq sauce....not even on side???? I will report the quality of meat was great.

I ordered the brisket and ribs combo with potato salad and corn on the cob. Nothing was really hot - just sort of lukewarm. The potato salad was ok and the corn was good. The Texas toast was good. But the meat was not as good as it was the last time I was here, which was several years ago. The smoke taste seemed artificially strong - maybe Liquid Smoke? And the sauces in the bottles at the table were not good - they tasted old.

Ordered 3 baked potatoes with meals. Got home, no baked potatoes, they put fried orka on our places. Lady wasn't to friendly when I called and told them what they did. She said I will check into and hung up. 5 minutes later she called me back said you can bring the places back and we will put baked potatoes on them, but our ticket shows you ordered 3 rib places with bake beans & orka. I said no,I ordered pork steak places with baked beans, baked potatoes. Everything was right except gave us organic unstead of baked potatoes. She said I told you to bring them back & we will put baked potatoes on them, then she hung up on me again. So I will not be going baked to Dexter BarQue in Dexter, Mo anymore. I will go to one in Sikeston.

Dry food, cold sides, small quantities. Absolutely not worth it and sauce options sucked. So weird as well because other locations aren't like this but I thought this one was the main one.

We walked in at 7:00 and overheard someone yelling in the back complaining that people were coming in, when they don’t close until 8. Everything that was ordered the cashier had to check to make sure it was still available since they closed in an hour and even had to turn the soda machines back on for us.

Excellent! The ribs were amazing, the brisket as well, but Just WOW to the Pork Steak. Massive, delightful, so tender. And the service is wonderful. The kindest staff. A must try. You won't regret it. Oh and every side we tried was great, okra, corn, beans.
