I’ve been going to el cabrito for 4 years and never had any issues. The food is always good as service is very friendly.
My husband and I ate dinner there today and they didn't disappoint!!!!! Their food is amazing and the servers are friendly and very helpful!!!!!

Was charged $18 for the shrimp salad even though their menu price is $9.99. I was not thrilled with the salad I received. Very flavorless. Just beware that they may charge you more than what their menu price states. If they have raised their prices then their menu needs to reflect that change. 0/10 would not recommend
We went for lunch, a party of 3. I don't recommend the tamales. They are obviously made days in advance, frozen and then microwaved. It was too tough and chewy. Everything was bland except the pico de gallo. It was too spicy for me to eat. The other two people in our party had taco salads, one of steak and one of chicken. They said they were good. Nothing to write home about but decent. However, our server was amazing. She was fabulous. She was always asking if we were good given us anything we needed. The lady that brought our food out was excellent. She was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was clean in the bathroom and it smelled nice. If only their food was at par with their atmosphere and service, this place would be unbeatable. Unfortunately, it seems the kitchen likes to make too many shortcuts that kills the quality of their food.

This place is very overpriced and dishonest. An order of Chilaquiles on the menu was just over 13.00 and i was charged 16.88 and they told me the menu prices were wrong. Then the excuse was oh with taxes and it comes with chips and salsa and finally that it was a to go order. I had to ask for a fork after paying almost $17. Wont be reccommending this place or coming back. Food was not good. Got a tiny bit of the main dish i actully orderd and the rest of the tray was filled with rice and lettuce and topped with raw bell peppers and raw onions. Very little flavor on anything. The rice was some of the worst ive had. No flavor at all. Also found a hair in my salsa when i got halfway through it.
They charge extra for everything plus an extra charge for takeout and $2 if you use a credit card. My $30 (3 "dinners") cost $52.86. I wasn't aware that chips/salsa was included with the takeouts and was charged those extra fees.
So if you order takeout make sure they know if you want the chips/salsa.
The so called salsa was seasoned tomato juice.
Wonderful surprise to find a amazing Mexican restaurant far from California. Had the chicken hard, soft and quesadilla. Will be back when I'm in the area.

Food had no flavor, no taste. Chips were like ones I can buy at Walmart, resturant style. Had to ask for a drink then extra chips.

Authentic with amazing service. The Al Pastor tacos were delicious ? thank you for not drowning them in cheese sauce like so many other restaurant's. 10/10 will return with friends, and family ?

Their food is always ice cold. It has absolutely no flavor. The soda was super syrupy. The building smells profoundly like decades-old mold & mildew. It's just really gone down the hill, quite possibly, into a bottomless pit. Always baffled by the amount of traffic on weekend nights. But then I remember, it's a small town in the middle of nowhere. It's a half hours drive or more, too the next bigger city. Sad!

So I have eaten here twice and I have enjoyed the food. The only I really want a fan of was the chips, but my wife liked them. I had the Al Pastor tacos, thought they were a little pricy for tacos but they were delicious. The servers all have been nice and attentive. The atmosphere was good, the seating area is just a little small.
