Hickory Log Restaurant

Hickory Log in Dexter has went to shit!! Go in, 5 employees at front desk playing on phones, we ask for you have table for 5! They inform us they are working to clean tables off now. Never moving nor putting down phones.... One finally says there is an available table at a bar. So we go to bar and set at a table, after 35 minutes, one of us walk back to the front to see how long it would be before we were waited on. Same 5 employees still there playing on phones and they said we are trying. Needless to say we left and took our business elsewhere! This is unacceptable in any business that is paying you for time, that you can not get off the phone to take care of paying customers. This will also be posted as a review, to inform customers what to expect!

Passing through and saw a local place that was busy, we always try to stop at those places. Plenty of seating, no wait, I recommend the ribs and baked beans...AMAZING!!!

Way over priced for a chicken sandwich this place wont last much longer I cant believe the price of s grilled chicken sandwich, but service was good

Waitress seemed to be more agitated we were there than anything. Meat tasted like it was a few days old and just reheated. All around just not very good, especially for the price. 5 of the tables were piled with dirty dishes and noone seemed to want to bus the tables as it was there when we got seated and still there when we left

It was a thrusday night not very many people but long wait for waitress had to continuously wait for help all night there was 2 waitresses

Never stopped before, and prefer family owned businesses, I had steak and shrimp, salad and fries. Everything was top quality, steak was definitely in my top 10 of all time. Staff was helpful and friendly, will be stopping again.
