Homeplate bar and grill is amazing all around. The owners and employees are always kind and helpful. I deliver groceries to them from walmart from time to time and its always a pleasure. If you are looking for the best burger in town Homeplate is where to find it.
We have been wanting to try Homeplate Bar & Grill for quite some time. They are only open M-F so living farther away we hadn’t had the chance until Presidents Day we decided to go and have lunch. Pictured is the Mushroom/Swiss burger with Cheese curds, Patty Melt with fries and Double Bacon Cheese Burger with Waffle Fries. We ate here while we were in town for our kids ball game. Excellent food/staff/atmosphere. We wanted to eat some good, local food while we were in Dixon. We found what we were looking for here! The tater kegs were a favorite. Highly recommend
