It took awhile to get our food. But it was all very good.

Was taken here for my birthday dinner. Hadn't been here in a while, but it was just as good as I remember it being from before. Had the roast beef sandwich with au jus.... I highly recommend it... Was delicious! I'll be going again in the very near future!

The Journeyman Restaurant is not just any local restaurant on the side of the road. There is a down at home atmosphere as you walk along the family photos and listen to the conversations of different people from all walks of life. The setting is inspired by cowboys and the American frontier. Which inspires the restaurant's name, "Journeyman".The food that you eat will be also be as good as well since you can never go hungry without the diverse options you can choose from. On certain days, the salad bar/buffet is open where you can customize your plate to your liking.While the restaurant is generally good, there will be a waiting period for your order. But is it worth the wait? Yes!TLDR: The restaurant is a western inspired place with good food and atmosphere. You will have to wait but the food is worth it. I posted the most recent menu for reference.

Parking: Parking at the restaurant is a generally good experience in the morning (5am-9am) or late afternoon (5pm-8pm) because not only will it be convenient for you, but also for the restaurant since the down time is generally the best time.

Very nice place to eat. Great food for not much money. Hope to eat there again. Could even smoke in one half of it.

One of the best sit down restaurants to eat in Doniphan. Breakfast lunch and dinner you will not be disappointed. Angie is the best at taking care of you!

It was just right. My husband was excited about the buffet and salad bar. The Fried chicken and best home made rolls were so good. Great Service and very good value. The waitress told be they have been open for 34 years and I can see why.

Pretty good food, they just don't give you much of it. Big prices, skimpy portions. I ordered a BBQ sandwich with onion rings, and I could count the onion rings they gave me on one hand. A bit disappointing.

My wife and I stopped in there on the way from Maryland to Alton, MO and there was a Lady & her 93 year old Mother dining there and made a recommendation on the open faced beef dinner & salad bar and I can't thank them enough as our dinners were spot on. Very very bad service. Run away from this place .bad waitress. And a good half inch of dust on the exhaust fan above my table. Need a health inspection asap.?!
