The food portion is small for chicken. I had a skinny chicken leg so tiny today lol. But place is clean and the little piece tasted ok, that’s all I give it.
This is some of the finest BBQ you will find in the state of Texas. It’s a small restaurant in a shopping complex. My Dad is 98 years old and loves their smoked beef ribs, they are truly amazing! I love their brisket and my daughter loves their turkey. We live in Fort Worth and know good BBQ, this is damn good BBQ! Give’em a shot and you won’t be disappointed.
So many choices and everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! Pulled Pork, Brisket (both lean and moist) Chicken and Sausage - all flavorful and tasty. The Mac & Cheese and cheese corn - soooo good!!! Peach Cobbler was the perfect ending to our meal - large enough for 3 adults to share. Plenty of leftovers to take home! I commend the staff as well! The young man and young woman working there made us feel right at home. Even though they were busy with take out orders, they were both so pleasant and helpful. We had a great experience all around! Will definitely go back!
very friendly staff, delicious greens, candied yams and Mac and cheese
Great barbeque for a great price
"RUNNING ERRANDS and ENJOYING LUNCH" Today I was out running errands and it was time for Lunch and I found myself right near " 2 Guys 1 Pit BBQ & Catering " so I stopped in for a bite. Parked out front where they have some signs that say "2 Guys 1 Pit BB Parking" - nice touch. Walked inside and there are some people here enjoying their lunch. Looking over the Very Large Menu Board and also their "Summer Menu" - lots to choose from here - and decided on their "Regular Sausage Sandwich" with 1-Side, chose "Mac-N-Cheese" and a drink. Liza is at the counter and took my order and said they would bring it over to my table. I filled up my drink and chose a smaller table. 2 Guys is step up really nice inside with tables for 6 throughout the Dinning area and a couple smaller tables for 4. They also have a "Topping Bar" that has Fresh Jalapenos, Pickles & Onions for you to top off your order if you want. Like I said, there is a lot on the Menu for you to decide from - and the 'Summer Menu' has Special Items they came up with for your enjoyment - and this Menu changes according to the Season we are in - but Every Day in Texas is BBQ Day and they have that here - Award Winning BBQ at it's Finest. Soon my food arrived and that Sausage Sandwich has a lot of Sliced Sausage on a Very Nice Looking Bun with some Sauce on there. This is Very Tasty and I Love the Sausage Flavor that's also Firmlylicious. They also have Two of their House Made BBQ Sauce, Regular and Spicy. After a couple bites in this Tasty Sausage Sandwich I added a little of both. The Regular had Good Flavor and the Spicy is not Overly Hot, but has a Spiciness to it - Very Good for those who don't want to burn the roof of their mouth - you can taste the Deliciousness of the Sausage and the Flavorful BBQ Sauce. Nice choices. The Mac-N-Cheese is oneof the Smoooothest Cheesiest White Creamy Cheddar Cheese I have had on any Mac-N-Cheese. They done did this Right. The Sausage Sandwich and the Man-N-Cheese was just enough for Lunch today - but wait - they have Desserts - and it's on their 'Summer Menu' board. I spotted 'Blackberry Cobbler' and that's what I want. I Love Blackberry Cobbler and you don't find it in many places. So - back up to the counter I went and Liza took my order and in a couple of minutes it was delivered to my table. It also has a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream on top and this does look Dessertlicious - and it is. The Cobbler is served HOT with the Cold Ice Cream on top and it's One Beautiful Sight. Lots of Blackberries in there and it's Blackberryliciousness with every bite and the Golden Crust is Very Flavorful. 2 Guys 1 Pit BBQ & Catering was the right place to have Lunch today and I am Very Happy about everything I chose and there are a lot of choices. Liza was Awesome and earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and I also gave a "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award to the Tip Jar - and since I'm a Guy I gave it to the "Men Tip Jar". They have Two Tip Jars on the counter with a sign that reads - "Who Tips Better - Men or Women" (very cute) and you place a 'Tip' in the appropriate Jar. (Note: I also tipped on the CC I used and tossed in a few extra bucks on the 'Mens' side). Check out "2 Guys 1 Pit BBQ & Catering" on Facebook (2 Guys 1 Pit BBQ - Restaurant) - and On-Line - and check out their 'Main Menu' and their 'Summer Menu' and I think you will find everything on their will be Delicious because it's what they do. They are / and say - "Veteran owned and operated. Award winning craft BBQ doing what we love and loving what we do!"
This is good stuff folks. The burnt ends are outstanding. Had a four meat plate with pork ribs, turkey, chicken and sausage. The pork ribs are incredible. The turkey is okay but the chicken is very moist and has great flavor. The sausage is moist and flavorful. The cole slaw was a bit too sweet for me. The mac and cheese is excellent. We would recommend and will be returning.

Wanted to compare this place with Carl’s bar-b-que on 290. So I had the turkey and it was very salty. It was moist. The bar-b-que sauce was served I a plastic cup, cold. That surprised me. It made me wonder if it was a homemade sauce or not. The coleslaw was cut up too fine for me and it tasted sweet - too sweet for me. At least there was no pineapple in it! Hooray for that. The restaurant should think of biodegradable or more recyclable containers for “to go orders”. I guess the brisket was not salty, so that was good to know.
went for first time yesterday. was great. going back today to try some more. beef was really good!
We had been wanting to try this place, and decided to share a brisket baked potato for our first try of this popular bar b que place. Nice, clean restaurant (with added drive-thru if you need to be extra cautious), friendly and helpful employees. Good brisket on the potato and good "burnt ends". A little expensive, but bar b que is on the rise all over due to beef prices. We will be back to try the yummy sounding sides and desserts.
the best BBQ around, family atmosphere and very clean.
Stopped in for an early dinner for some BBQ. Had heard really good things about this place and we weren’t disappointed. The BBQ was great. So flavorful and tender. Husband and I both had two meat combo plates. I chose the pulled pork and jalapeño sausage and he had the brisket wet & sausage. All were very good. We had Mac n cheese, baked beans, and potato salad as sides. Great sides, gooey cheesy Mac n cheese! This is a family run business. We spoke with the owner for some time about how they cook things and how they were doing with all this Corona Virus stuff. Very friendly people! Highly recommend!
