Southern Comfort Restaurant.I ordered the fried catfish, loaded smashed potatoes and side salad. My wife ordered the fried chicken (white meat), loaded smashed potatoes and side salad. The fried chicken was good and moist and the fried catfish was the best I've ever tasted! The smashed potatoes and salad were very good! Service was excellent! Great restaurant!

Well this was our first time and we had 10 people. We were split 50/50 who liked the food and who didnt. One plate got given to another table so one person ate when everyone was almost done. It happens. Another plate was completely wrong but eaten anyways. The waitress was okish. She was pleasant with nice blue hair. Until standing about 8ft behind our table she starts telling a kid maybe 10, who was the daughter of someone working. That the kid will learn to hate all the people working there because of how awful and terrible the customers always are... This is the woman that now I have to tip. So it kinda sucked, we agreed this wasn't the place for our family. 250 bucks later, the food and experience wasn't worth what we paid.

Can't tell you how it was because the website said it was open and low and behold it was closed so no eating. It's horrible when they say that they are open and they are not.
This place was delicious ? we tried the 2 piece fried chicken meal with Mac and cheese and greens and the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. It was a little wait for the food but well worth it. Our server heeatjer was awesome too!

The fried chicken, Mac and cheese, green beans and mashed potatoes were homemade and AMAZING!! The service was great as well.

We just happened to come here when they were doing a crawfish boil!!!!!! I got the mix crawfish and shrimp boil and the ol'lady had fried catfish. They were both excellent.Had beignets for dessert....nice and fresh!!!The food was great, the service was awesome and the people were phenomenal!We have been looking for that go-to place where we get to know everyone and I think we may have found it.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Sat for over 2 hours and never received my food. The other people with me finally got their food after 1 1/2 hours of waiting and the food was cold and the potatoes were hard as a rock. Our waitress was amazing (wish I could remember her name) the owner was rude and tried to argue with us about the temp of the food and being loud & obnoxious! We won't be back ever and won't recommend this place to anyone. 2 hours of waiting and I'm having to go to Jimmy John's just to get something to eat.
