We gave this place a try for dinner, my husband didn't want to say anything as he didn't want to be rude. I am usually the one that doesn't want to say anything or leave a review, but I can't get past the fact that I felt bad watching him try and eat some sliced roast beef and chicken with what amounted to be maybe 2 mini bell peppers chopped up that was supposed to be steak and chicken fajitas, with none of the fajita accoutrements. He only ate the chicken and beans to be polite. I had the chicken enchiladas, which were mediocre and the strangest enchiladas I've had, but compared to how his plate looked it mine was likely 100% better. I wouldn't have even tried to eat his plate of food it looked very unappealing and was absolutely not as pictured in the menu online. Not to mention I would expect at a sit down restaraunt to get a glass of ice with my drink not just the can of soda. Very strange experience to say the least. Definitely not worth the $ spent.

This is a good stop in Eldon for dinner. Here you can order multiple cuisines ranging from Pho to Mexican.

I recommend the chicken burrito! Stop here when you get some spare time, you won’t be disappointed.

Such a welcome gem in a very small place. There are other venues equally worthy of attention, all here too.

If you like green chili I would suggest getting a bowl or at least getting something smothered in it. Now if you haven't had green chili before don't be thinking it's just a play on a classic bowl of chili, as you could setting yourself up for disappointment, even though it's really good green chili.

Dined in and we shared the cowboy nachos and a cheesy rice and brisket burrito. I also had a Shortleaf Mexicale. We liked it! The sweet baked beans kicked the nachos up a bit and the brisket was flavorful and tender. The ale was unique and tasty. This is located in a small business’hive’ building across from the fire station on oak street, 1 block west of Maple/the main downtown drag. The restaurant does a ‘pick your protein’ and toppings theme, so easily customizable. In Eldon, I can see this as a good fit for a community that is rapidly growing its young adult citizen population with the area job demand and needed more vibrant food/drink venues. Next door is a themed speakeasy ‘Capones’. This place is open 11-9pm and serves beer, so a fun meetup evening place.

excellent southwest cuisine. I used to live in Colorado and it was an absolute treat when I found this place. the food is excellent and the owners and staff are fantastic. I go there regularly and recommend everyone needs to go there as well.

I have a thing about quality chicken... I was very impressed with the texture & big pieces of spicy pollo that were basking in the Green Sauce. The one thing you will notice before even taking a bite... is the spice... the smell is captivating... and will elevate your taste buds... Another thing I love... They offer Glass Bottled Sodas with Cane Sugar. A Cold Orange Soda was a staple for me when I lived in Southern California... a perfect touch to any spicy dish... so grab a bottle and feel like a Million bucks! My husband likes the Vegetarian Option… and went for the Bean Burrito… I’ll have him leave his own review… But I must add… the Burrito was huge… my portion was too… I had enough for lunch today!

I am so glad that I found this spot when I did. They have really brought that delicious green chili to mid-MO. I love their Navajo tacos, but my favorite is the smothered brisket burrito.
