The horseshoe burger tasted like it was a frozen patty. It needed to be fresh. It also needed seasoning. A little salt pepper garlic maybe. The chili was runny. It needed thickened and seasoning as well. The beer battered fries were good. We also ordered the nacho chili cheese fries. They were good but like I said the chili needed thickened. It was soupy. Had to use a spoon. The waitress was wonderful. Never let our glasses get low. Cozy little place.

Whoever is in charge on 2-24-24 should not have a job anymore. Leaving their staff outside the restaurant waiting in the cold while they decide if they want to work today is completely irresponsible. To the owner, that person has lost you a customer. How many more can you, the owner stand to lose?

Not sure if it was the cold or lack of employees. I planned my trip across Southern Missouri and read reviews of places to stop that had semi parking available. Despite the posted hours at 8am it was closed. I'm a bit disappointed. Those biscuits and gravy sounded
