Ate hear 2015-2018 on occasions, it was a destination, classic Americana, a hole in the wall restaurant in an off-the-highway town where the train used to stop. Has one long table in the middle for locals and a small table on the side for whosoever will. Wall had lots of newspaper clippings. The burger was always an easy choice and good. Serve-yourself fountain beverages from the kitchen. The building itself had what looked like four storefronts, three of the four with walls or roofs partially coming in. If the restaurant indeed closed, I am sad, but it seemed inevitable, whether due to the age of the waitress who held down the place or the condition of the building.

Closed. Building looks condemned. Looks to have been shut down for a bit.
the food is out of this world, the service was pretty good. the only thing that was negative about this place was you have better plan on staying awhile cause getting your food took a long time
The breakfast was absolutely great...but the carrot cake is phenomenal!!!
We came here twice on vacation, excellent food and service both times! We loved everything we got and highly recommend the fried pies and home made cheese cakes, yum!!
Looks a little rough from the outside but inside they have good food and friendly people. Cash only.
Honestly, my wife and I go to Chuck Wagon quite often. In my opinion their breakfast totally blows away all other competition in town (and yes, little tiny Camdenton has three places that specialize in breakfast/lunch). The wait staff is always super friendly, and the food is OUTSTANDING. Everything we have ever ordered here has been super good.
The food was good and atmosphere local. All food items ordered came out hot after a very long wait. The breakfast buffet was picked over. Two of our group had the buffet and were finished before we were served. The server was very pleasant. Will definitely stop here again because of the service.

Took the whole family (us, daughter and granddaughters) there for a late breakfast. Food was very good; people were very friendly; found out you can order anything they make anytime while they are open. Not open for dinner and are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Pricing reasonable.
GREAT food, GREAT service, GREAT prices. We eat there almost daily; it is where a lot of locals go. Breakfast is served all day, and the breakfast special is also served all day.
Great Breakfast, huge menu and friendly staff and the best pancakes ever. Took home the fried pies for dessert.
When traveling we love to find the diner where the locals go. This is it! We had breakfast for lunch. The dust bowl, potatoes with eggs, meat, gravy and cheese was delicious. They were pretty busy but service was still great. Would love to stop in again.
the old style cafe has good food for breakfast. Service staff was good and quality of food was okay. They usually have daily specials.
We heard the potatoes there were amazing, as in crisp on the outside and soft inside. However it was a soggy mess with undercooked eggs (after specifically asking they be cooked!) There is too much fried food here and not enough of the healthy....
